I have two

  1. figured out how to reformat an old hard drive that i needed the space to store new shows I wantef to have and was able to make room for so much stuff. It took way to long for me to sit down focused and walk thru a 5 minute youtube video explaining it and it paid off. I knew that was the solution all the while, just took a long time to buckle down and do it. I need to get more in that habit

  2. Couldnt remember debit pin and its annoyed me for a long time when i needed to withdraw cash various times. Found a forum post saying the exact process in the banks app and had it sorted out in less than a minute. Itd been like 3 months I put up with that and its just not an issue anymore

Be someone's hero and inspiration and share how you fixed something bothersome or even downright problematic

So, I plan on going to Canada for a student exchange program on my university, maybe even live there. How many years before it I should start getting ready? What do I get? Can I choose the state I will study/live on? How many money do I need to bring there?

Update: Another 30000 bots joined the party, so cpu usage is high at the moment. Site is slower than normal.

Appearently about 17500 bots are attempting to slow down our instance and eating bandwidth by grabbing the same files over and over.

They are banned for now but its an ongoing battle against these guys. Just wanted to let you know in case you notice worse performance. :)

Past articles about homes washing away in this area have discussed rising sea levels as part of the cause. It surely is here again, but the nearby hurricanes created both large waves and locally higher sea levels which accelerated the process.

Family separations were the hallmark of the first Trump administration’s border policy. Now advocates allege migrant families are being split up again as a retaliatory measure

The Trump administration has revived the practice of separating families in order to coerce immigrants and asylum seekers to leave the US, attorneys and former immigration officials allege.

In several cases, officials have retaliated against immigrants who challenged deportation orders by forcibly separating them from their children, a Guardian investigation found. The officials misclassified the children as “unaccompanied minors” before placing them in government-run shelters or foster care.

The new practice has taken effect as the administration has also issued stringent new limits on who can take custody of unaccompanied minors – which advocates say keep thousands of children away from their relatives.

Linux Mint 22.2 64 bit got +3.34% from previously 0%, while Linux Mint 22.1 64 bit lost -2.71%. So the rest of the 0.65% are either new users or upgraders from even older Linux Mint versions. Whatever the reason is, these two entries should have been a single one as Linux Mint 22 with 8.84%.

Also what is the category "Other"? It's almost 20% big, so this is not something to wave over. Bazzite got a good start, hopefully it will grow further. I'm surprised that CachyOS is this popular, much more than Ubuntu and Bazzite.
