But it wasn't always like this. Why the hell are they allowed to absolutely monopolize all shows and venues? How are there not laws on this?

Is stopping going to any shows the only way to fix this? If so, that wont happen. People are gonna go see their favorite bands (and ticketmonster knows it)

I wish this one was as easy as getting rid of all my streaming services - but they really fucked us over for live shows.

what i mean by that is that if it's possible that some companies like Xiaomi, Realme etc will continue allowing sideloading the apps? I mean they have already modified the Android source code, how hard it could be to just allow sideloading, isn't it just something like allow_sideloading=true.

my guess is that Google services will refused to work on phones that allows sideloading, that could prevent other companies from allowing sideloading.

what are your thoughts?

I kinda went on a little research spree on economics this afternoon but at one point I figured it's probably good to know if it's possible for, say, at least 98% of people on earth to live a happy fulfilled life at all.

I know there's plenty of people who'd be more than happy to have literally nothing more than a house, food and water, but that still leaves a whole lot of people who want other things in life.

Do we have any metrics or data on wether the earth can sustain roughly 8 billion humans?

You all know what I'm talking about. I was just watching a video on another post, and literally the first ten seconds of audio were covered up by BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP. I know it's everywhere, but already I stop watching YouTube channels that use it, and I don't watch TV very much because of it.

I'm not sure if other people feel this way, and it sounds kinda whiney when I type it out like this, but the pitch hurts my ears and disrupts my concentration on the video in a way that irritates me way more than it should.

I have social anxiety and never been in a relationship and find it very difficult as an average looking dude to meet women. I get bad anxiety when trying to approach a girl I like or find attractive so avoid it. I’m still working on myself so I know that needs to come first. Just looking to see what others did to find a girlfriend with similar difficulties.

Hello. If I wanted to be a mod for a community that does not have more than one mod and said mod has not been active in 2 years, I assume from what I have seen, how can we join this as a mod to help give it life?

In the 90's a lot of popular song were pretty political, remember Killing in the name of and even the skate pop-punk has pretty popular political song's (Offspring, Blink Green-day). Actually political movies were also quite big in the 90's/00's (French Masterpiece La haine, or the whole work of Michael Moore).

I would expect to see that the people who were teens/young adult at the time would tackle all these issues 20-30 years latter when they'll finally take the power and the reality is that everything got worse, than even talking about-it make you sound like a radical, and that the gen-X/Millennials totally failed to change something.

Feels like the whole scene’s changed lately — between new rules, KYC walls, and crypto sites popping up everywhere.
