It seems like a big push to seperate anyone with critical thinking skills or basic morality from the "true believers." This is a very literal "test of faith" where they are seeing which people are there because they actually care about the middle eastern guy from a few millenia ago, or if they only care about groupthink and blindly supporting their in-group. Anyone seeing this shit who doesn't immediately walk out can easily be boiled like a frog into being a compliant brownshirt and/or bilked out of tons of money.
