Nope. We are basically just a bunch of coal mines pretending to be a country, anything remotely good is spat on and villified by our media, which is majority Rupert Murdoch owned, and labor are spineless and the liberal coalition are straight up evil, so even the slightest positive change is hard fought and very quickly lost.

China has a chance to do the funniest thing right now, and not lower their sanctions.

I love how creepy he makes Vance look in his style. It's the lowest of low hanging fruit for a political cartoonist to make their enemies look ugly, but to keep to the same style with the same expressions as everyone else, but still managing to keep his serial killer stare is just chefs-kiss

Yeah, they probably cut the funding because it has already served its purpose. More mainstream sites like Reddit and Twitter are basically just 4chan anyway.

Maybe that's why the best tomato sauce tends to be tangy and strong? thonk

But yeah, as others have said, if you've ever grown your own tomatoes, you'd know how different they taste from store bought ones, because store bought ones are bred to look big and impressive (so people buy them) but not so much for flavour.

I read a lot of them, some interesting discussions of theology hidden in there, and some fun mockery of people acting like they think they're the Main Character of Leftism.

I did notice the mods were removing comments and banning people who tried to spread it out further than the few threads it was in. 19 84 but also good work for them keeping on top of this and letting it get too nasty.

masters obey the state (render unto Cesar)

Is that really how you interpret that passage? It was "render unto Caesar what is Caesar's and render unto God what is God's" Isn't it? So it's literally calling out the romans for thinking they own everything when they don't. It seems to be saying the opposite of what you think it is saying. Jesus was crucified by the Romans because he stood against the status quo and was a threat to their power in the region.

Is this what a hexbear struggle session is really like? Struck me more as a couple of people making really extreme statements and generally being mocked for it.

Not a politician, but still relevant.
