The so-called Quad group was hosted by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and announced a critical minerals initiative. The group wants to counter China's dominance in the field of minerals essential for new technology.

The United States along with Japan, India and Australia announced a critical minerals initiative on Tuesday amid concerns over China's dominance in the field.

The group of four, also known as the "Quad," pledged to work towards a stable supply of minerals that are necessary for new technologies.

"Reliance on any one country for processing and refining critical minerals and derivative goods production exposes our industries to economic coercion, price manipulation and supply chain disruptions," a joint statement by the group said

I have a questions I haven't found answered anywhere, but maybe someone here can help out.

First, some background:

I have bought this silica gel with indicator a while ago and have used it in my AMS and also for storing my filament in ziplock bags.

I now want to dry some of the silica gel, and have looked at the various options there are. I want to rule out the use of my kitchen appliances, as I am not fully convinced of the silica with indicator being really fully non-hazardous. I also recently bought a Creality Space Pi dryer, which I would like to use for drying my silica as well. Of course I would need to print a container for that, and since I only have PLA and PETG available at the moment, I wouldn't be able to drive the dryer too hot.

Online you can find many different opinions about the ideal drying temperature for silica gel, ranging from 60°C to 145°C.

Efficient energy usage is no big concern for me with this, as my PV modules produce a lot of excess power during the current season.

Question:

What temperature should I dry the silica gel at, and does a longer drying time at lower temperature equal the same results as a quicker drying at higher temperature?

Or does higher temperature actually remove more humidity overall, which a lower temperature can maybe not achieve regardless of time?

Title says it all

Like, do snakes even know youre their friend? From the people ive seen, they are still trying to kill you and wrap themselves around your neck, so why do people still keep them and talk to them as pets?

My guinea pig still sometimes runs away from me, but she at least likes me and and my voice and just stops eating if I dont speak to her every day to the point that I needed to force feed her nutrient slop, she lets me cuddle her, etc

And snakes are just like: I will kill you the second I see you

The violence last week in Kafr Malik, in the West Bank, comes amid a surge in assaults by Israeli settlers. It also set off a chain of violence in the area.

[A Palestinian friend who lived in my neighborhood in the US is there now, in his family's home. He said it was like 3 nights in a war zone.]

"The attackers threw another firebomb into the bedroom where Mr. Afeef’s newborn nephew was being lulled to sleep, scorching furniture and leaving blackened marks on the floor and walls, the family said. The damage was visible when Times reporters visited on Friday. [...] Soon after, Israeli forces arrived and opened fired at Palestinians instead of stopping the rioters, according to multiple witnesses.

The soldiers killed three people, according to the Palestinian health ministry. [...]Nine others were injured, some gravely..."

An international research team has published a new study on one of the oldest known sites for the processing of animal meat by humans in the southern Balkans. At Marathousa 1, an archaeological site in the Greek Megalopolis Basin, researchers not only found numerous stone tools that provide clues to human behavior but also remains of the extinct straight-tusked elephant Palaeoloxodon antiquus.

The study, published in the journal PLOS One and led by the Senckenberg Center for Human Evolution and Paleoenvironment at the University of Tübingen, shows that various tool-making techniques were already being used about 430,000 years ago—depending on the material and purpose. The Marathousa 1 hominins produced the sharp-edged flakes required for cutting meat both by freehand striking and by using "bipolar striking techniques."

Here's my theory: Carney dropped the DST because of supply management on dairy. My evidence is sparse, but:

Last month, the U.S. and Britain announced a trade deal related to a range of products. But Britain’s 2-per-cent DST was not affected.

(From the Globe)

That shows other countries have a DST but that hasn't been a sticking point in trade negotiations.

Meanwhile, Quebec really likes supply management:

83 per cent of Quebecers want governments to do everything in their power to protect the country’s supply management system.

During the next election, Carney will probably need Quebec's support to stay in power. By giving up the DST, Carney may be able to keep supply management for dairy, and avoid alienating Quebec voters.

I guess we'll see during the final negotiations. Do our dairy farmers get to keep their protections?

I think it'd be really funny if this show maintained the perspective of the other characters where it just seemed like a vending machine. I think it'd make the show all the more absurd and hopefully cause the audience to question if it is just a regular vending machine or if it somehow gained sentience.

Numpang rant ga jelas aja ye. I may sound like a hater tp bodoamat.

Lu pd tau kan tipikal mahasiswa2 di app sebelah yg suka share achievement2 mereka? Pas gua SMA sampe maba dulu ngerasa kek wah keren ya i'd love to be them sampe pas udh kuliah gue temenan sm mereka dan realitanya JAUH dari konten yg mereka bikin. Kalo kerja kelompok sm mereka nyusahin abis.

Udah gt konten yg mereka share jg banyak boongnya.

Plg dr kerkom gua liat dia upload sg foto latop pas kita lg kerkom dengan caption pusing bgt blablabla pdhl selama kerkom dia cm planga plongo main hp🤣

What I'm trying to say is... branding bukan berarti nipu publik wkwkwkwkwkwk

Lu pd punya ga temen educational creator yang at least masih bener kalo kuliah? Apa mereka modelan kaya tmn2 gua juga?
