  • It was possible to bypass the corporate login on an internal business card ordering website and exploit it to download the details of more than 270k Intel employees/workers.
  • An internal “Product Hierarchy” website had easily decryptable hardcoded credentials that provided a second way to download the details of every Intel employee. More hardcoded credentials made it possible to gain admin access to the system.
  • An internal “Product Onboarding” website had easily decryptable hardcoded credentials that provided a third way to download the details of every Intel employee. More hardcoded credentials made it possible to gain admin access to the system.
  • It was possible to bypass the corporate login on Intel’s SEIMS Supplier Site and further exploit it to download the details of every Intel employee (the fourth way). Additional client-side modifications made it possible to gain full access to the system to view large amounts of confidential information about Intel’s suppliers.

I'm using Boostcamp at the moment: free version, not open source, and its bothering the hell out of me. Limited. Bloated. Paywalls. I love the detailed programs and routines, and have not found a similar replacement. Any recommendations that include:

Routine creating

Custom exercises

Access to existing database of workouts (most important).

Roblox is possibly the most popular gaming platform on the planet—far more popular than you might think. Grow a Garden, a game built within the app, recently had 21.9 million concurrent players, dwarfing the likes of Fortnite and Counter-Strike 2 by multiple times. And that’s despite being an application recently described as “a pedophile hellscape for kids.” Well, it can now add another similar accolade to its collection, as the entire state of Louisiana has announced it’s suing Roblox, calling it “a breeding ground for sex predators.”

Louisiana attorney general Liz Murrill announced the action via X, explaining that she’s coming after the gaming platform due to its “lack of safety protocols,” and the claim that this results in danger for children. Which, in most circumstances, might come across as all-too-familiar hyperbole from a member of government looking for a moral panic to latch onto. It’s just, in the case of Roblox, it’s something that’s been demonstrated to be true over and over again. But no matter the accuracy, the question remains: What is the actual, practical purpose of this suit?

“Roblox is overrun with harmful content and child predators,” says Murrill, “because it prioritizes user growth, revenue, and profits over child safety. Every parent should be aware of the clear and present danger poised to their children by Roblox so they can prevent the unthinkable from ever happening in their own home.”

On September 12-13, Halifax is scheduled to host a Davis Cup international tennis match between Team Canada and Israel at Scotiabank Centre. This event offers Israel the opportunity to sportswash its genocide in Gaza—to use sports to launder its reputation and distract from its human rights atrocities.

It’s significant that this match is scheduled to take place at Scotiabank Centre. Scotiabank is among the top five shareholders of Elbit Systems, Israel’s largest weapons manufacturer. Elbit supplies 85 percent of Israel’s drones and up to 85 percent of its land-based equipment. This match is serving up Palestinian blood, masked as friendly international competition.

With great fanfare earlier this month, the pioneering artificial intelligence company OpenAI unveiled its latest model, GPT-5, an AI system so advanced that using it was said to be like conversing with a Ph.d. It landed with a unsettling thud.

Two days after Cook and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang had a closed-door meeting with Trump at the White House. The president later announced Nvidia, along with its rival Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), will be allowed to sell certain artificial intelligence chips to Chinese companies – so long as they share 15% of their revenue with the US government.

It was a dramatic about-face from Trump, who initially blocked the chips’ exports in April. And it swiftly prompted suggestions that Nvidia was buying its way out of simmering tensions between Washington and Beijing.

Trade experts say such a deal, where a company essentially pays the US government to export a good, could destabilize trading relations. Martin Chorzempa, a senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, said that it creates “the perception that export controls are up for sale”.

“If you create the perception that licenses, which are supposed to be determined on pure national security grounds, are up for sale, you potentially open up room for there to be this wave of lobbying for all sorts of really, dangerous, sensitive technologies,” Chorzempa said. “I think that’s a very dangerous precedent to set.”

I used to be a fiction writer, and not a very good one. When I was still in college (or maybe just after I left) I wrote fan fiction set in Terry Pratchett's Discworld universe. Starring a gargoyle named Ashlar and an astronaut named Bizz, the two set off on an intergalactic journey of defying odds and rewriting history. I think that's what I was going for anyway, I never actually finished it. But hey, there are no shortages of cameos, because why would there be?
