I really liked Midnight Club back on the PS2. Would be cool to find similar for the Deck.

Any racing games that the community finds good on the Deck? Is it arcadey or realistic in the mechanics?

If anyone was following this fiasco, they basically launched Dauntless on Steam with a major update that completely wrecked the game and removed much of its content. Dauntless was already struggling and went in weird directions during development but this was the final nail in the coffin, and the company seems to have totally gone under.

The country’s biggest civil service union has written to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to express its “disgust” that it has entered into a media partnership with **The Sun**newspaper, which it accuses of “demonising benefit claimants”.

Sharon Vincent says it's "disgusting" that Rogers Communications gave some customers a discount when they complained about price hikes to their monthly bills, but others — such as herself — got nothing.

She's one of hundreds of Rogers customers who've written to Go Public, frustrated by monthly price increases to their bills they say were unexpected. Now, some are angry that friends and family who've complained to Rogers have had their bills lowered while others have struck out.

Canadians shouldn't get unequal treatment from a company that's received over $110-million dollars from the federal government over the past few years, says NDP MP Brian Masse, who's raised the issue of Rogers' price hikes on Parliament Hill.

I was one of a group of Just Stop Oil activists given the longest-ever UK sentences for peaceful motorway. Six months into my incarceration, this is what I have learned

Not directly related to climate change, but Just Stop Oil has been in the news a lot.

Mission details

The NVS, previously IRNSS, constellation is not a global positioning constellation, like GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, or Beidou-3, but a regional one, similar to the Chinese Beidou-1 and 2, or the Japanese QZSS, serving only the Indian sub-continent. IRNSS satellites have two payloads: a navigation payload and CDMA ranging payload in addition to a laser retro-reflector. The payload generates navigation signals at L5 and S-band. The design of the payload makes the IRNSS system interoperable and compatible with Global Positioning System (GPS) and Galileo systems. The satellite is powered by two solar arrays, which generate up to 1,660 watts, and has a lifetime of ten years.

Harvard Medical School canceled a planned Jan. 21 lecture on wartime healthcare and a subsequent panel with patients from Gaza receiving care in Boston in response to objections that students would hear from Gazans impacted by the war and not also Israelis.

Course instructors and students were notified Tuesday morning that the events — scheduled for that evening — would not be held.

Students had organized the moderated discussion with patients and their families as a follow-up to Levy’s lecture, which was not focused specifically on Gaza.

Jones said that Arabic-speaking Medical School students who had served as interpreters for patients from Gaza in Boston asked course staff to arrange the session with Levy and patients’ families.

“Students often find that the presence of a patient who is interviewed and discusses their experiences is often far more engaging, powerful, and moving than hearing a professor carry on about the pathophysiology of disease,” Jones said.

The optional session was part of the course’s original spring semester curriculum and was approved by HMS administrators, according to Jones.

Several African nations have committed to open up their electricity sectors to attract investors and light up the homes of 300 million people currently lacking power over the next six years. "Mission 300" is driving the agenda at a two-day energy summit in Tanzania.

Nearly 600 million Africans live without access to electricity – higher than any other continent.

A plan dubbed "Mission 300", launched by the World Bank and the African Development Bank (AfDB) last April, is now racing to connect half of those homes to power by 2030.

The push aims to unlock at least $90 billion (€85 billion) in capital from multilateral development banks, development agencies, finance institutions, private businesses and philanthropies, according to the Rockefeller Foundation, which is part of the initiative.

"We want to expand and rehabilitate our electricity grids using the least cost possible," said Kevin Kariuki, vice president for infrastructure at the AfDB during a two-day energy summit of African heads of state in Tanzania's commercial capital, Dar es Salaam.

In Nigeria, an estimated 90 million people, 40 percent of the population, don't have access to electricity. The country, along with Senegal, Zambia and Tanzania is one of a dozen that committed Monday to reform their electricity utility companies, push renewable energy integration and raise targets to improve access national electricity.

Multilateral development banks and commercial banks represented at the summit will use the country's commitments to persuade their clients to invest in Africa's energy sectors, said World Bank President Ajay Banga.

Providing 300 million people with access to electricity is a crucial building block for boosting Africa's development by creating new jobs, Banga said.

The World Bank expects to spend $30-40 billion on the plan, Banga said, while the AfDB will provide $10-15 billion. The rest will come from private investors and other sources.

"The World Bank will pay countries as part of our support only when they make the (regulatory and policy) changes," Banga said.

Private capital has in the past blamed unfriendly regulations, red tape and currency risks for making investments in Africa's electricity sector hard.

Half of the targeted new connections will get electricity from existing national grids, the World Bank and the AfDB said, while the other half will be from renewable energy sources, including wind and solar mini-grids.

While Africa may have the most potential to generate solar power, according to the International Energy Agency (IEA), the continent has not yet installed enough capacity.

I think everybody on here is constantly keeping an eye out for what to host next. Sometimes you spinup something which chugs along nicely but sometimes you find out you've been missing out.

For me it's not very refreshing or new: Paperless-ngx. Never thought I would add all my administration to it. But it's great. I probably can't find the thing I need, but I should have a record of every mail or letter I've gotten. Close second is Wanderer. But I would like to have a little bit more features like adding recorded routes to view speed and compare with previous walks. But that's not what it is intended for.

What is that service for you?
