I knew it. I hate plastic ones. I've switched to metal or those paper ones.

Don't rush into things. Be friends for awhile first. It establishes more natural connections, and you learn more about the person well before you start doing lascivious things like holding hands.

I want to have children, but cannot afford them for an undetermined amount of time. Fingers crossed that we'll have enough money someday!

I didn't know this until recently, but pregnant women are kinda different than regular women because a fetus counts as a foreign body (since they are a combo of parental DNA), almost like getting a donor organ. Much like the meds you'd get if you got a donated organ, mother's bodies shut down large parts of their immune systems in order to not reject the fetus, which puts them at high risk like organ recipients. I had no idea.

A lot of stuff would stop working, including stuff like microwaves, satellites, all cell towers, and anything not wired. If it was not magic, it would probably kill everyone as everything is just a spectrum of energy.

Unfortunately, things like this will continue to happen. Events like Pride here have been proactive whenever there's street events, and they have deployed crash barriers that people can walk between quite easily, but will immediately stop vehicles. They kinda look like portable construction equipment, but they have little wheels on them so they can be wheeled around, and have teeth that bite into the concrete when a car crashes into it. It will stop or potentially flip the car, depending on the speed.

Seeing deterrent measurements is disheartening, but it also makes it much more reassuring to see police and crash barriers protecting large (300k+) events like parades and street festivals. I hope Germany and other countries start to deploy barriers like this for big events.

I got a chair from them about four ish years ago. It's nice to see companies that really, genuinely refurbish stuff. My chair has held up great and only came with a few cosmetic scratches on the back. Well worth the massive savings versus buying new!

As long as there's a good, available vaccine, IDGAF. I'll make sure my family gets quadruply vaccinated, and wait for idiots that reject vaccines to start beefing it.

I will be sad for old folks, babies, people who are pregnant, and the immunocompromised though. We just need to learn this lesson sooner rather than later, before it's something completely fucked up like nipah virus, which will fuck our shit up if we don't have a damn good vaccine and containment protocols in place.
