Pertussis outbreaks are at the highest level in a decade and doctors say many cases are going undetected — allowing people to spread the bacterial infection unknowingly for weeks.

The U.S. is experiencing more than four times as many whooping cough cases compared with last year — a spike that some experts attribute to post-pandemic vaccine fatigue.

“With the increase in vaccine hesitancy that has been going on since the Covid-19 pandemic, we’re seeing outbreaks occurring in kids who are not vaccinated,” said Dr. Tina Tan, president-elect of the Infectious Diseases Society of America.

Babies are given the DTaP vaccine, which helps protect against three diseases: pertussis, diphtheria and tetanus. The vaccine works well against diphtheria and tetanus, but is less effective over time for pertussis.

Hello, I recently made a post that I was tired and high and didn't really make a detailed you know post. Today I looked to bring you a detailed analyst and observations of fast track evolution.

I began fast, tracked to evolution about five years back. This was a process to not only heal my body, but enhance it.

What is fast tracked evolution?

I’m guessing we all know the process called evolution. A process that takes hundreds of millions if not billions of years. Through many generations.

Now, how does this relate to my fast tracked evolution? Fast tracked evolution is a process in which a person or power influences a specific growth pattern, matching evolutionary changes, but within grand spectacles.

How does fast tracked evolution specifically work?

Within my own experience, I found a grand power beyond human comprehension. Something that at first I didn’t have full belief in or it was an unconscious untrusting due to my background. Leading me to explore options that are normally seen as fantasy even in these contexts.

It wasn’t originally about being right or wrong. It was just about having fun and figuring new things out. Eventually, the prospect of experimenting with these powers ended up with me, actually utilizing them on my own body instead of others. Such as mine came out to be the most scientifically enhanced and accurate change possible.

Just as an evolution as an entity's body, bones and muscles all change in development. This is the exact same for me.

One thing to remember, there is no growth without suffering.

Evolutionary processes

The evolutionary process included Wing structures growing in my back non-mature feathers growing non-mature. And this was all the start of my graphs, such as my spinal cord started lengthening and strengthening. This felt like knives and popping sensations going in my back.  Along with tingling and extremely sharp pains.

This was the longest area of growth. It felt like my whole body was rebuilding itself from each individual fiber when I stood when I walked. Everything was excruciatingly painful. Eventually, this ended about before my arms changed.

No, for reference this was just about three years later from when my spinal cord began. It randomly popped one day and my entire body felt completely different; it felt younger or enhanced.

I was extremely high. As I took a break from marijuana for about 4 to 6 months. I decided to hop back on it and take edibles. I ended up getting so high that I ended up puking everything out of my system, and then when I laid down my arms, snapped off of my body, and I could taste the blood and feel blood all throughout my body. And I will fully admit I was honestly  scared at this moment.

I think that being high specifically made it more scary because I had more of an emotional reaction to it, and even though I was quite used to very intense growth going on, this was probably one of the most intense it’s ever happened to me.

After that experience, it came about that my knees disappeared specifically, my kneecaps got replaced by tendons and then slowly regrow into a more powerful and stable kneecap on both sides. My walking for a little bit was painful and unstable. The instability lasted longer than the uncomfortableness.

I also had my ribs begin to fuse and my rib cage extended upwards. I think this part was quite painful. I was high so it managed the pain quite well.

Currently, I have realized I am developing a coat of lift on my wings. As they are maturing and getting all the proper additions to utilize them, such as neural pathways attachments onto the scapula and sternum. I learned I can glide my arm after my wing muscles activated at least partially.

How of these all relate

As you saw in that final paragraph, I mentioned connections and Neuro pathways. This is a really important part of the entire growth process such as the body modifications. If you look at proper evolutionary changes for wings and humans you would have to have such as stronger ribs and bones.  With extended muscles in the neck and upper body.

As the body produces the wings, the wing muscles will have to attach the scapula and places around such. These have to be strong enough to withstand the pressure to fly.

Thank you for reading this paper. If you wanna need clarifications or have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Edit: My psychiatrist has stated that I am not crazy in a mental way and my general doctor has been made aware but has not made any deeper comments.

The ready-to-eat poultry and meat products are being recalled by BrucePac, an establishment from Durant, Oklahoma

Almost 10 million pounds of meat has been recalled by the US Department of Agriculture following concerns they may be contaminated with Listeria.

The ready-to-eat poultry and meat products are being recalled by BrucePac, an establishment from Durant, Oklahoma, after tests found products were positive for Listeria monocytogenes.

According to the USDA, the items were produced from June 19 to October 8 and shipped to other establishments and distributors nationwide, before being distributed to restaurants and institutions.

UK pharmaceutical giant GSK says it will pay as much as $2.2bn (£1.68bn) to settle thousands of cases in US courts over claims that a discontinued version of its heartburn drug Zantac caused cancer.

The firm announced that it had reached agreements with 10 law firms who represent around 80,000 claimants. The settlements account for 93% of all cases.

GSK will also pay $70m to resolve a whistleblower complaint by a laboratory that alleged the drugmaker defrauded the US government by concealing Zantac's cancer risks.

Urgent recall occurred last month when dozens across nine states became infected with the bacteria outbreak

More than a month after the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) initially issued a recall of eggs after people in nine states fell ill with salmonella, the government agency has now upgraded its warnings, saying that the eggs in question could cause serious adverse health consequences or even death if ingested.

A new report estimates that 40 percent of all cancer cases are associated with factors we can change—alcohol consumption being a prominent one.

A little bit of alcohol was once thought to be good for you. However, as scientific research advances, we're gaining a clearer picture of alcohol's effect on health---especially regarding cancer.

The complex relationship between alcohol and cancer was recently highlighted in a new report from the American Association for Cancer Research. The report's findings are eye-opening.

The authors of the report estimate that 40 percent of all cancer cases are associated with “modifiable risk factors”—in other words, things we can change ourselves. Alcohol consumption being prominent among them.

Six types of cancer are linked to alcohol consumption: head and neck cancers, esophageal cancer, liver cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, and stomach cancer.

If blowing out the candles on your 100th birthday cake is a pillar of your retirement plan, you might want to skip to the next article.

An analysis of death data from the world’s longest-lived populations reveals that the rapid improvements in life expectancy achieved in the 20th century have slowed dramatically in the past three decades.

The finding suggests that if 100 is to become the new 80, radical new medicines that slow the ageing process itself are needed, rather than better treatments for common killers such as cancer, dementia and heart disease.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has approved the first diagnostic test for mpox where the results can be immediately known, saying it could prove pivotal in helping to stop the rising global cases of the deadly virus.

The new PCR test enables the detection of the mpox DNA taken from skin lesion swabs.

Currently, samples have to be sent to a laboratory for testing and the patient and medics have to wait days for the result.

Limited testing capacity and delays in confirming cases continue to be a challenge in Africa - worsening the spread of mpox that was previously known as monkeypox.

Global trial finds treatment with amivantamab and lazertinib halts progression for average of 23.7 months

Doctors are hailing “amazing” trial results that show a new drug combination stopped lung cancer advancing for more than 40% longer than the standard treatment.

Lung cancer is the world’s leading cause of cancer death, accounting for about 1.8 million deaths every year. Survival rates in those with advanced forms of the disease, where tumours have spread, are particularly poor.

Patients diagnosed with advanced forms of lung cancer who took the combination of amivantamab and lazertinib were still alive with no progression in their disease after 23.7 months on average, according to data from the global study. Average progression-free survival in patients using the standard drug, osimertinib, was 16.6 months, the trial found.

Full-time workers have an increased risk of cancer, say researchers from the University of Fribourg. In a new study, they found that people with a 100% workload are more likely to develop cancer than people with other career paths. The reasons for this are unclear.

Hospitals across the U.S. are taking steps to conserve their supplies of IV fluids after Hurricane Helene struck a critical manufacturing plant belonging to the country’s biggest supplier.

Baxter International, a medical technology company responsible for making IV fluids for most U.S. hospitals, said Sunday that it would temporarily close production at its North Cove, North Carolina-based facility because of flooding from Helene, raising concerns about a potential nationwide shortage.

IV fluids are used to deliver drugs or water with electrolytes directly into a patient’s bloodstream. They’re also critical for surgery, when a person is unable to eat or drink, to keep them hydrated. Baxter also makes specialty fluids, such as peritoneal dialysis fluid, which helps patients with kidney failure filter waste from their blood, as well as irrigation fluids, used during procedures to clean or flush wounds.

Fewer young people are having sex, but the teens and young adults who are sexually active aren’t using condoms as regularly, if at all. And people ages 15 to 24 made up half of new chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis cases in 2022.

The downward trend in condom usage is due to a few things: medical advancements like long-term birth control options and drugs that prevent sexually transmitted infections; a fading fear of contracting HIV; and widely varying degrees of sex education in high schools.

Is this the end of condoms? Not exactly. But it does have some public health experts thinking about how to help younger generations have safe sex, be aware of their options — condoms included — and get tested for STIs regularly.

Even as death rates from breast cancer have fallen, rates of new diagnoses continue to tick upwards, according to an American Cancer Society report.

Americans have benefited from huge leaps in breast cancer treatment over the last two decades, but diagnoses are becoming more common, especially among younger women, according to a report published Tuesday by the American Cancer Society.

The new report shows that breast cancer mortality has decreased by 44% since the late 1980s. Rates of breast cancer, however, have increased by 1% every year since 2012. In younger women, rates have increased at a faster clip — by about 1.4% every year since 2021.

“That is very alarming because we know that screening only starts at age 40,” said Dr. Sonya Reid, a breast medical oncologist at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, who was not involved with the report. “It’s not just one racial or ethnic group affected, we are seeing it across the board, so it’s hard to link it to ancestral or genetic factors alone.”
