Don't forget letting companies sack the state: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berkeley_Pit

Keep what you're happy with, but yeah, I'd definitely expect higher prices in the future.

Even though our president is the dumbest cunt in modern history, up until Russia invaded Ukraine, pretty much all of the world's economies were enmeshed heavily, and they still were even after the world voted Russia off the island. Now that we are shooting ourselves in the foot, it's going to set off a bunch of terrible economic stuff since nobody thought anyone would be dumb enough to throw sand into the money printing machine that is world trade.

Meetup.com has a lot outdoors groups for camping, hiking, outdoors skills, etc. Local outdoor climbing groups are also popular places to meet people, as well as climbing gyms, especially if you meet another solo autobelayer that needs a toprope pal. Your municipal community centers usually host things like dodge ball and other events. Your city is almost guaranteed to have one or two major cycling groups, which offer everything from queer history rides (gentle, 3mi rides) to 200mi long weekend rides.

There's also singles adventures groups (a paid service) that do everything from high ropes courses to boat excursions to ballroom dancing nights.

If you're a furry, telegram has a lot of groups for local skiing/mountain biking/gardening/rock climbing/cons/parties. Usually municipal events chats too.

Dude, your tax dollars are gonna go exclusively to rebuilding strip malls and power centers in shithole states to reward them for the dictator vote. He's already refused to fund a blue state over a storm cell that destroyed a ton of homes.

Your tax dollars are gonna go exclusively to rebuilding a Hooters that was built on a hastily paved over swamp in 2014.

It would be a bad day to wear a tinfoil hat.

Fire season in the west and east is gonna be fucking wild too, though. We are all gonna lose.

Because our president shows that once in 248 years, someone who continuously flouts the law somehow makes it into power, then changes everything to be in their favor, permanently.

You reminded me of Gunship- Fly For Your Life (great music and incredible visuals)

It's really starting to feel like WW1 again. Now that we are going back to a multipolar world order, shit is starting to rapidly spin out of control. I expect the current wars to get worse, and new ones to break out. My money is on China invading Taiwan next. :/

Why do people care so much? Idgaf who uses which bathroom. Do people have men and women's bathrooms in their own homes?

They grow natively, here, but not many native plant sellers seem to sell them, citing their difficulty in cultivating them.

I soaked 30 seeds for 24 hours, then planted them in a seed starter greenhouse with peat under a grow light.

Your best bets for fluoridated toothpastes are probably sensodyne, unless you can find these more obscure brands.

I hope they continue to test more adult pastes!

These tortoises can live till 200, and it's not uncommon for them to have children at such an age, even in the wild. Their numbers are growing! :)

Tonight, I attended a talk on neuroscience and brain research, and there were a lot of interesting links between memories, behavior, and mental health. So I'm doing my own little version of that in this thread. What song do you associate with happy memories, even if it's just a general feeling of happiness? Can you recall one of your oldest ones?

Go your own way, by Fleetwood Mac makes me think of fun car trips with my parents, roughly around 6-8 years old. Nothing terribly specific, though I do associate it closely with one of the city highway on ramps used to go visit relatives, go skiing, or get to the airport. :)

The two didn't believe the officers when they were informed that they were wildlife officers and bragged and their illegal hunts, their uncle's illegal hunts, and showed officers an illegal turtle skeleton they had in their bag.

Luckily, they are delicious and almost free.
