There should be a website dedicated to funding murder

Kickthebucketstarter.com

Or masturbating to pornography

They do, but the cameras aren't streamed anywhere. Source, used to work in assets protection. They are strictly a deterrent

I use Excel for a lot of advanced things, but even their word processor is garbage. I tried to use it to take notes for DnD but things like bullet points wouldn't work correctly, spacing got all messed up, etc. Just a ton of small shit. I eventually just switched back to the web version of Microsoft Office.

I absolutely love Linux, but some things Microsoft does better, and Office is one of them.

As a Linux daily driver, LibreOffice is ass. I've tried, but it just feels like a cheap, not nearly as good alternative to Microsoft Office. Hate to say it

But guns sure do!

What can I say, I fucking love POP OS so far. Linux Mint was my first distro, and I loved a ton about it. But after taking the leap and switching to POP I am blown away. Everything has worked amazingly so far.

What are your favorite things about POP OS, and any tips?

My time with Linux has been equal parts amazing and absolutely infuriating. Linux Mint is NOT usable out of the box. Here have been my issues:

Nvidia GPU - Trying to figure out how to get the drivers working was a nightmare with ten million different people giving different advice on how to get it to work. Eventually I was able to get them signed and it seems to work

Bluetooth - Another nightmare. Bluetooth is terrible on Linux. It took hours to get it even remotely working ok, but I still don't think it's perfect.

Compatibility - Some things just straight up don't work for seemingly no reason. None of my controllers work with Steam, no matter how many countless hours I've spent troubleshooting.

And that is where I am disappointed. Troubleshooting Linux issues sucks. There are so many people giving their opinions and all of them are different and most don't work.

When Linux is working right it is amazing, and I love it. But right now, it just isn't as good as Windows and extremely infuriating more often than not. Guess I am going to switch back and give Bill Gates all of my info again. Really fucking disappointing

Update: Controllers seem to work after forcing compatibility mode in Steam. No idea why that was off or why Steam was essentially hijacking my controller, but it seems to work now. For everyone that helped thank you.

Hello,

No idea why this is happening, as apparently no one else is having this issue, but my PS5 controller does not work with linux. I did a clean install of Mint today, and on my old install it was working great. Now, Steam recognizes the controller, testing the inputs shows everything works, and Linux recognizes the controller is connected with the USB, but it is not registering with any game. None of the inputs work, and even more annoyingly pressing the PS button immediately launches steam big picture mode, which I do not want.

I've been trying for hours to fix this and everyone else is saying it works great out of the box, but that is the opposite of the case for me. Any advice?

Hey everyone,

I am trying to set up a VM on my Linux Mint pc for Windows 11. I already have the pc dual boot linux and Windows. My goal is to set up a Windows 11 VM and then delete Windows partition from my pc. I don't want to dual boot into windows anymore, but I need it for a few applications.

Is there a way to get the key I already bought and use it for the VM I am going to set up?

Side note, what VM software do you recommend? VirtualBox seems popular, but would like some advice.

Hello,

I am not able to figure out whatever bluetooth issues I am having. None of my devices stay connected and will never reconnect once disconnected. I have a pair of WH-XM4 and they will not stay connected. Here is what I tried so far:

Reinstall BlueZ

Check for blocking with rfkill

Restart Bluetooth, but I just get this error "Bluez Daemon is not running, blueman-manager cannot continue"

I'm at my wits end. Please help.

Any feedback would be great. It definitely isn't perfect, as it's my first mix, but I am happy with how it turned out.

Anyone else experience this? I haven't ever had this problem with Chrome. Live streams on YouTube seem to freeze once an hour or so. Actually YouTube just seems way slower and much more laggy on FireFox. I am using uBlock Origin so maybe that is throttling things, but I'm not sure.

Any advice?

Been using Sync and love it, but there are bugs and the dev disappears for months at a time. Is Boost regularly maintained or should I just switch to a FOSS app?

Poor Ratatouille

Seriously this is a lot of fun. It is absolutely a Bethesda game through and through. Not sure what people were expecting. I'm glad it's not like No Man's Sky because that game bored the shit out of me almost immediately.

Thoughts?

Is this normal?

Hello,

Steam Deck had a small update last night and it completely broke the game controls. I am using the Daimyo Valheim v3 layout, which is maps everything to keyboard and mouse keys. Since the update, the on screen keyboard doesnt come up when trying to interact with a sign to change the text, and if you go into the map to try and create a pin with text, it completely breaks. You can’t exit the map most of the time but if you do, your character can’t move and most of the controls stop working.

Anyone have any ideas how to resolve, or if this issue was seen previously?
