In both submissions, you can air your thoughts about difficulty to repair iphones including glued-in batteries and pairing and calibration of components, and please, especially mention irreversable software updates and Apple's refusal to sign and allow (re)installation of prior ios versions. The right to repair should include the right to repair software, eg put software back to what is was (or to any compatible version).

`It's that time of the year again -- the over-the-air update blocker profile (tvOS 16 Beta profile) is set to expire TODAY. If you are relying on this profile alone to block updates, your action is required to install the new tvOS 17 Beta profile, or else updates will appear in Settings and your device may update to the latest version without you realizing.

Important: This profile is a little bit different from ones in the past. You need to manually set your system time to before December 14, 2023 or else it will refuse to install. After installing the profile, you may set your time back to normal.

This new profile expires on January 31, 2025 -- mark your calendars!

If you are having trouble accessing the page or installing the profile due to an SSL encryption error because you changed the time, try these steps in order:

1. Ensure your time is accurate
2. Load the page, ignore the Safari popup
3. Set your time back to December 12, 2023
4. Hit install profile and it should correctly download

Me = A15 iOS 16 Serotonin Bootstrap Procursus (roothide) 🤓

1. IMPORTANT: After every reboot you have to {'Bootstrap' in Bootstrap > 'Jelbrek' in Serotonin > 'Bootstrap' in Bootstrap > unlock iPhone > 'Respring' from Bootstrap's Settings} . This will fix / activate springboard tweak functionality.
2. While downloading rootless tweaks with Sileo, if prompted, choose to 'convert' and 'save file', then manually open Patcher and select that same deb file - convert it with default settings - then (when prompted) choose zebra to install it - click queue on bottom then confirm.
3. Some tweaks that need tweak injection to specific apps will require you to open Bootstrap and “enable the tweak for app” - you can do this for Settings.app so you can configure tweaks, most can be configured without injection by using the tweak called “Tweak Settings” - see below 👇

Hey fam! Need some help with the new semi-JB. Haven’t been in the jail breaking space in a long time (the last time I was here we still used cydia impactor haha). Is there anything you can do on ios15? Serotonin is ios 16.0+ as far as I know and jb is months away.
