Voyager implement all searches that lemmy exposes, but this one is something else. When in a browser with a post loaded, I can search the post and its comments for any text with the browser “search this page” feature.

Hi everyone, with the whole Firefox ToS change and it's fingerprinting I asked on mastodon if anyone could recommend a web browser alternative to Firefox and was recommend to go with Vivaldi due to their no fingerprinting, and allowing unlock to still work even though it uses manifest v3.

I am already switching to librefox on windows, and fence on android.

But I wanted to ask if the claims for vivaldi where true?

This app installed without my permission. There is barely any info about what this app is for. I have all my settings turned off so it asks my permission before downloading anything, and this app still manage to get installed without consent. This is a very shady thing to do. This and another 2 apps also from google (e.g. SafetyCore) that just installed without permission. If my settings mean nothing, this is very worrying. No heads up, nothing.

My current card is fine for me in 1440p ultrawide, though it does get hot and is (for me) noisy.

The main consideration is (tethered) VR gaming. The 6950xt is ok but it feels like it's just short of where I want it, but I'm not sure how much of a difference there'd be between the 2 cards.
