Well Future Funk was sort of a “fork” from Vaporwave from what I remember. Very DIY attitude based and similar visual aesthetic but it’s more about sampling Boogie music and then compressing the hell out of the kick - to where it’s really more in the vein of Filter/French House - but usually a bit more lofi production wise.

This is just another reason I don’t get too buddy buddy with coworkers. Especially having hang sessions outside of work.

I’m not in sales though so maybe the dynamic is different.

I hug a tree. I dunno if it makes life noticeably better but it’s a vibe. I lost quite a few trees in a storm last year and feel like I’ve under appreciated them for way too long. No more!

I’m surprised the logs in the fireplace aren’t gold.

Take this idea to Shark Tank

Weird place. I think I have shopped there maybe once or twice but don’t even remember this being a thing.

I pretty much use your method, although sometimes after making breakfast sausage, I will fill up the pan with soap and water and let it soak for maybe a day. Then, I will go outside and dump and kinda hose it off then take it back inside to wash in the sink proper.

Well what kind of pan are you going to use? And do people really cook tomatoes in lard wtf lol

Are you a bot?

I’ve been watching his videos for years. I didn’t even know he was a quadruple amputee when I first found his channel.

He was a consistent content creator that made a ton of vids exploring the history of games and would go through all the platform releases one by one. He was also pretty funny and had a wicked sense of humor.

RIP PatMan QC - you will be missed

Good doc from 4 years ago about public lands and some of Trump’s policies during his first term.

I havent used any type of straw in quite some time. Plastic or paper.

They do nothing for me and I think they are one of the most pointless disposal food packaging items to exist.

Edit: there are many useful applications for straws I simply didn’t think about when posting this. Thanks for the commenters for pointing this out.

I never knew and got curious and looked it up. I guess it makes more sense than slamming your testicals against the wall.

I occasionally produce music and starting to get back into it. I just got a new machine with Windows 11. Anyways, this issue has been a thorn in my side for years. I CAN’T stand when you are browsing files through windows explorer and if you have a folder full of just audio tracks(.mp3, .wav, etc) then windows will automatically set the folder properties as “Music” - which means it shows you the track #, artist and other music related metadata it thinks you want to see. I want all my folders to have their properties set as “General Items” by default but not sure it’s even possible.

I absolutely cannot stand this and I’m determined to hopefully figure out how to turn it off - or what I’m doing wrong. If anyone knows what I’m even talking about or have any input I would greatly appreciate it 🙏

I have a 24 year old mini fridge that’s still alive and kicking. It’s a model that actually also has a freezer compartment.

I’ve been thinking about replacing it - especially since the freezer portion no longer works. But I was also curious how much more energy efficient fridge tech has gotten in the past 20 years? Like would I make up the cost of a new mini fridge pretty quickly based off the less power consumption?

I actually have one of those electricity monitors hooked up to it logging the data and I’m still kinda researching - but thought hey I’ll just ask c/nostupidquestions and maybe someone here might know right off the dome! Thanks in advance
