Im playing it on my steamdeck. Ugh just lost a thrall and could not find shadowmere for awhile after the soul cairn. I really wish the thrall spell would just set the thrall to the max level of the spell rather than fail due to auto leveling thing.

I very much doubt it would but it would likely help to some degree. I can say I did not learn till late in life and am a horrible swimmer but do a decent backstroke and side stroke which are, to me, the more useful basic swim strokes. Learning to float on ones back is most of whats needed for a backstroke. The stroke itself can be fast or slow. Most people can be in neck heigh water and just relax to allow their feet to stop supporting them and keep their face and mouth above water. If they fill their lungs with oxygen the chest should naturally go up to the surface as well. Thats like with the worst body shape.

I believe language learning like most anything varies quite a bit individual to individual. Much of it might come down to interest. I am horrible with language. When graduating college a friend and I exchanged transcripts and his comment was. Wow. Actually you get pretty good grades (im looking at him like did you expect me to do poorly?), oh, except in spanish. When english was a subject in school it was my worst subject. Now my brother on the other hand totally geeks out on spanish and latin culture. He says he does not speak that well but in the right scenario (low light setting) it can take awhile for someone to realize he is white. I think they realize there is something wierd about his accent but figure he is from somewhere they are not or was diluted by being in the us or such.

I find my dogs are faster than the squirrels, they just can't accelerate as fast and the squirrel quickly scampers up a tree. Rabbits on the other hand. They book.

I think you have to change all the vowels.

Once the soul is extracted such silly concepts are irrelevant.

exactly. not only is it mainly made of their money with whatever retirement and such from those doing better in the middle being a pittance in comparison but they also aren't really investing and just holding it there because there is no real other option. Meanwhile as wealth disparity gets worse less of the regular folk even have anything in it. So it goes up because people who have money don't have anywhere else to put it. Should be interesting once we see the us market doing poorly while europe and asia do alright or if the bond markets falls apart.

Sorry no. Not in some time but one thing I did not mention is zorin uses ubuntu stable. Main complaint with people is old because it by no means tries to be bleeding edge. So it is relatively good on older hardware although its not a lightweight distro made to handle very old hardware. So I don't know how well it will do on a mac book pro but im betting it will do as well as any other.

I like zorin. Comes with libre office, disc burning, rdp client, play on linux to make running via wine easy, windows like interface. Its a nice out of the box distro for installing and going. Its an ubuntu spin and they only make the changes necessary for the look to be windows like and then the out of the box software so otherwise it pretty much behaves like ubuntu. Its a good lazy mans distro.

Much of this artists stuff is political but much is just stuff in her (sometimes family or friends) life. Its funny to because the folks I have come across who vote right tend to be the I don't want to talk politics and then they want to make everything political.

So both my wife and I wish we could transfer the knowledge this comic provides as I would have talked with her to get one just after we were married and if she knew she might have hit planned parenthood at 18. The author is I think something like 10 years younger than us. Maybe a bit less. Its the type of thing that makes you want to live in the future. I came from a family of seven kids and I know my parents did not really get condoms until late in life and I had this conversation with an elderly lady when I was in college who grew up in the south and was pregnant when she had believed the stork brought babies. Drives me crazy the folks in my country who want to be like the past. Of course what they want is for lesser folk to live like the past while they reap the fruits of a modern life.

Jennie is apparently more nerdy than I thought.

may have to cross post this to lemmy be wholesome

Its funny that all this time they never thought just going full blown would fly. The way they would hide the things they do and they never needed to.

Im not sure if our lower level brains are responsible for this.

I feel like this is a motherly take on the leopards ate my face.

Never thought about it this way. I have a science degree so that has to at least make me on the level of typical clergy.

Strangely when I look at bazzite for my laptop it asks about my graphics drivers but it seems to list desktop drivers. So my laptop has a 940mx. Can I use the bazzite for gtx 9xx given its the desktop driver for the same time period?

I actually use my toothbrush handle to flaten from the far side forward after the tube is used for a bit.

My doctor prescribed me lipitor (well the generic equivalent) for high cholesterol. It feels that im just at the level where he would prescribe it and I told him Im not sure I want to take it. Im looking over side effects and that even more makes me think forget this. That being said I know that most medicines have side effects and not everyone gets them but heck the ones that are more than 1 in 100 seem annoying enough. Anyway im not looking for advice so much as experiences people have had with it or someone they know you have taken it.
