The tax raise should be graduated, not flat. It should be something like 0 percent on the lowest earners, .02 percent on the middle earners, and .2 percent on the highest earners
The difference is that first responders willingly put themselves at risk when trying to save people, and in fact hundreds of them were killed while performing their first responder duties on 9/11. No nurses (or doctors for that matter) were killed performing duties at the scene.

The food in Germany is completely meh imo, EXCEPT for the restaurant sour kraut - holy shit it is sooooo much better than what we get in the states. Someone told me it's because they cook it up in some kind of animal lard
