I done know. I couldn't find a source for it being a Turkish bullet, but some articles are linking to the following (paywalled) as a source for the FBI's claims.
Yeah idk the wsj earlier came out uncritically endorsing the document, then the nyt quoted some dude from the atf who said this info was unverified and possibly inaccurate and then Steven Crowder was subpoenaed by the atf for spreading this transgender bullets rumor. So it seems like the wsj is sort of walking it back now. They also had a full article chaos of the manhunt and all the contradictory statements from public officials. So idk the whole transgender bullets thing seems sorta iffy atm. Seems like if they were sure of it they’d be broadcasting it everywhere, not only due to the right’s desire to pin this on trans people and the left more broadly, but also because they keep broadcasting everything else, like the two suspects who they ended up releasing.
Doubtful because the arms manufactured in question doesn't even seem to manufacture .30-06. My bet is "straight up lie" given that afaik the source is Steven Crowder literally saying "trust me bro"

Even that's doubtful because Turan don't manufacture 30-06. More likely it's entirely fabricated and the "TRN" is either someone joking about it or, yes, the dumbest investigative "journalism" in the world but without an actual pic of ammo from the shooting.
