If it matures tech bros will be all over this both for collecting data to map people's behaviours and also serving ads right into someone's brain.

they can already do this with ultrasonic directional speakers so I assume it was a technical limitation that stopped exactly this from happening already.

and not a little one either; you know they would absorb any amount of lawsuits to be able to advertise without consent.
