Welcome to Food Crimes! This community is here to collect all and any post about cursed food and generally unusual consumables.

Is it bacon flavored?
I've been disappointed with these random gummy things that look like other food but then still have normal fruit flavors. Like a hotdog that has strawberry/watermelon for the dog, orange for the bun, and lemon for the mustard. I want it to taste like a hotdog!
The most disappointing to date has been the gummy pickle — why would that NOT taste like a pickle?
Is it just bacon shaped? Or is it bacon flavored too?
I’d eat some if it was only bacon shaped.

this is like... worthy of the Hague level of food crime.
The gummy probably has gelatin in it which may have been extracted from the connective tissue of a pig, so it's basically pork.
I just saw this last night in Narduar’s interview with BBNO$. They were in a cool Vancouver snack boutique with tons of crazy shit like this.
I mean, it does come from the same animal as bacon

Is this actually bacon or just a bacon themed gummy candy?
I'm guessing it's just bacon shaped gummys. I bought my brother the Kraft Mac n Cheese gummys because I thought the whole idea was hilarious. They didn't even try to taste like Mac n Cheese.
I’m guessing this is the latter from the candy store context, but do not know for sure.

Sorry for the gratuitous usage of Italian, but I don't think there's any English word or expression that accurately describes what I feel about it.
