Sideshow Rahim is especially memorable because according to the commentary made in the early 2000s he had made a top 50 simpsons characters list by some magazine. Angry, angry young man.

I'm always partial to the freakish designs from season one

[–] AFineWayToDie@hexbear.net 21 points 3 months ago

Frank Grimes.

I consider any possible appearances after "Homer's Enemy" non-canon.

That anti union buff guy got that was coming to him! The voice is Droopy Dog from Hannah Barbara cartoons

[–] FlakesBongler@hexbear.net 8 points 3 months ago

i was gonna say any bit part where they were too cheap to hire a POC so they got Hank Azaria to put on a shitty accent, but after some research that's a surprisingly wide net (actually insane what they were still doing just years ago)

i'll go with Hank Scorpio, the better Hank

Mr Snrub. He was in a town hall meeting, he looks identical to Mr. Burns except with a moustache, and he's never seen ever again. He was also friends with Smithers?!?

Were the writers doing a non sequitur?

[–] GalaxyBrain@hexbear.net 5 points 2 months ago

He's from somewhere far far away

I don't remember what this guy is called, but there's a whole compilation of his appearances on YouTube.

I guess he doesn't count as a one off character. Was Guy Incognito ever in another episode?

[–] FlakesBongler@hexbear.net 9 points 3 months ago

Such an amazing gag

[–] GalaxyBrain@hexbear.net 6 points 3 months ago

Idncount Just Stamp the Ticket Man ad close enough. Guy Ingonito didn't survive the beating he took at Moe's.

[–] NephewAlphaBravo@hexbear.net 6 points 3 months ago

I keep wanting to parse this as "the ticket man, whose name is Just Stamp"

My name's Gloria. I'm here because Johnny-boy hasn't been able to cut it man-wise for some time. Not that I want his odor of gin and sour defeat pressed against me.

[–] DamarcusArt@lemmygrad.ml 7 points 3 months ago (1 children)

She's queen of the harpies!

[–] peppersky@hexbear.net 4 points 2 months ago

HERE'S YOUR CROWN!

[–] ComradeMonotreme@hexbear.net 9 points 3 months ago (2 children)

I’m partial to the excitable man driving a tracked vehicle in whacking day.

[–] LocalOaf@hexbear.net 3 points 2 months ago

Shake harder boy.maddened

[–] AssortedBiscuits@hexbear.net 3 points 2 months ago

"Quit stalling, what's the plan" guy from the comet episode

He's the funnier version of "The PTA has disbanded" guy.

[–] AssortedBiscuits@hexbear.net 7 points 2 months ago

So, Mr. Simpson, you admit you grabbed her can? What do you have to say in your defense?

Mr. Simpson, your silence will only incriminate you further.

No, Mr. Simpson, don't take your anger out on me! Get back! Get back! M-Mister Simpson, nooooooo!

[–] Grebgreb@hexbear.net 4 points 2 months ago

this thread is making me remember how much i used to love the simpsons

Oops this guy I already mentioned below by Dirt_Owl. Always beats me to the punch. ~~The guy that votes "Nay" and then tries to blame it on someone else "It was him! Let's get him fellas"~~

Instead, I'll nominate the tall man in a small car: https://youtu.be/gkBqVVbnZ1c

[–] FlakesBongler@hexbear.net 7 points 2 months ago (1 children)

He shows up again, but damn it, I'll allow it!

[–] OgdenTO@hexbear.net 4 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Oooh, I forgot about that scene!

[–] FlakesBongler@hexbear.net 6 points 2 months ago

It got cut in syndication, plus it's from NYC episode which got slices up further after 9/11

But as a fan of Very Tall Man and riding on the bus, it's burned into my brain
