I love my jailbreak features, but the number of apps that are requiring ios16 is large and growing. As a software engineer, I know there is no way to deal with this unless there is some way to emulate an entire OS or be able to install the newer IOS features into older IOS versions, both of which would be close to impossible to do. The older versions of apps are even blocking me from using them or just don’t work. Also, dopamine seems to be pretty damn unstable recently. It just will crash to a pink/purple screen, and I got stuck in a boot loop I couldn’t get out of without my MacBook and installing something from brew and running a command.

What is everyone else doing that is on IOS15? I just don’t get how it is usable. It’s starting to really impact the apps I use for work, even JIRA just blocked me from using it the other day and their web interface doesn’t work. I don’t want to upgrade to 17.5.1, but if there is any hope, I would. What would it take for y’all to upgrade? Am I the only one in this boat?

I’m on 14.5.1 jailbroken with unc0ver on an iPhone 11 Pro Max. Problem is many apps are broken because iOS 14 is ancient at this point. Even some websites break. I’d like to update to a newer version with the option to retain the jailbreak. If not possible I’d like to be able to install apps like uYou. What do I do? Also, is it possible to back up everything? I don’t wanna reinstall apps, restore pics or retype credentials

PSA EDIT: SnapChat has now been detected (My crane tweak by opa is now not working after update and I’m probably going to have to downgrade the app now)

EDIT 2: You can use AppStore++ to downgrade your apps that have detected jailbreak (such as banking apps these have had the most issues since like forever lol) not sure how long you’ll be able to get away with that tho as eventually they may require you to update them or it won’t let you use it

Edit 3: on Crane topic not working for Snapchat it seems my package was bugged? Had to reinstall Crane as it wasn’t working for any of my apps but after reinstall it works fine now so I’m not sure what that was about!

Edit 4: Most of y’all are having issues with your banking apps detecting jailbreak. I’m going to attempt to work on patching them with Flex 3 please be patient it may take some time.

Documents by Readdle has detected jailbreak on my 13 Pro Max running Dopamine 2.0 on iOS 16.0.2 just to let y’all know seems like app devs are finally catching on with the jailbreak (I’m sure there’s more apps that detect it now however I haven’t been really updating my apps that much) if you need to hide JB detection for your apps go ahead and install Choicy by opa334. I want to extract cookies from my app session of crane, so then i can take the cookie session and import it to my browser to access the account i created on phone.

I tired to install netfence, however it didnt work, i cannot find how to extract it.

I recently installed palmer1n JB rootful on my iphone 7 plus and now my iphone is no more allowing me to enable the wifi option, how can i resolve this?

Genuinely curious. On Android we don't have to worry about this because we can manually sideload updates and keep root since root doesn't rely on exploits like jailbreaking does. Will you move to Android or give up on jailbreaking and just run stock iOS?
