At the request of Twitter user @MK__1990, I have created a tweak that prevents the volume from being momentarily lowered by the notification sound while playing any media when the mute toggle is turned on. This allows the user to hear the notification sound while paused, and to hear the keyboard and other sounds as normal. Supports iOS 11-17 Now it is available on my personal repository ()

1. Connect Apple TV's Ethernet to Golden Eye Adaptor.
2. Connect Golden Eye's Lightning port to DCSD apaptor
3. Connect DCSD cable's USB-A to macOS, you may need USB-A to USB-C adaptor.
4. Boot Apple TV, and launch palera1n(Must use the nighty builds from )
5. ./palera1n-macos-arm64 -f --cli and wait for magic happen.

Woke up randomly this morning to being completely unable to use cellular data and given this error. I am on IOS version 16.0.3, with an Iphone 14 pro max. This issue also happens on stock IOS. Doing research, I was told the only "official" fix is to update, which isn't exactly possible. Is this a known issue that has a bypass? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I get that it’s totally fresh, and a sight of jail break for iOS 18 is nowhere near possible as of right now.

Which begs me to question whether it’s even necessary anymore, with Apple allowing third party stores on the ecosystem, how will this affect the need for side loading/jailbreaking?

There’s also the side of me that’s curious on what iOS in general will look like years from now with App Store regulations, generative ai and whether it’s even possible to change iOS with that level of feature being available.

Will we ever need to jailbreak? If so Why? What’s missing in iOS at this point? (I’m not against it, I’m just simply trying to convince my self that it’s okay to not have access to jailbreaking).
