I’m looking to buy a 13 pro and it’s on 16.1.1 which was released around November 22, whereas 16.5 was release 6 months later.

It’s getting more and more difficult to buy good ios16 phones for jailbreaking purposes in my area so wondering if this is a good version to buy or would a later one be much more beneficial?

Yeah, I'm sure you see this all of the time but I need to remove the parental controls from my iphone and macbook. I am 17 and need my phone to communicate with people and to do my schoolwork. I need to remove the downtime and app limit feature.

I am not able to reset the screentime password, or factory reset my phone. My parents refuse to enter the password on my phone, so a keylogger or screen recording will not work. I am unable to remove myself from the apple family. I have to send requests to download apps, so that won't work either. They have disabled the feature where I can change the time zone. I am able to download apps on my mac, but only from the web.

I also tried talking to my parents, but they refuse to lift the controls. The phone was a gift from my grandparents, and they pay the bill.

I program in python. Is there a way I can remove these controls? Or is there a command I can put into the terminal on my mac to remove them?

VisibleIsland

VisibleIsland brings a new and simple way to enable and configure the Dynamic Island on older devices.

Features:

• Enable/disable the Dynamic Island with the flip of a switch
• Fix the position of the Dynamic Island to be under the notch as opposed to halfway under it
• Set the position of the Dynamic Island to anywhere you want using custom X and Y offsets

Disclaimer

As of now, the option to fix the Dynamic Island position to directly under the notch is only officially supported on a few devices (list below), as I don't have a huge spectrum of devices to test on. If your device isn't fully compatible, use the custom positioning instead.

Fully supported devices:

• iPhone X (rootless untested, should work though)
• iPhone XS
• iPhone 11 Pro
• iPhone 13
• iPhone 13 Pro
• iPhone 14

Note

Some devices are currently set up using "fake" offsets calculated by setting the resolution on a device with the same size notch and finding a good position for the island. I'm not sure if these will work correctly on these devices, but ideally they should. Here's a list of the "fake" offset devices below.

"Fake" offset devices:

• iPhone XR
• iPhone 11
• iPhone XS Max
• iPhone 11 Pro Max
• iPhone 13 Mini
• iPhone 13 Pro Max

Version/Jailbreak Compatibility

Full support for iOS 16.0 - 16.6.1, currently only built for/tested on roothide (Serotonin) but should ideally work without a problem on rootless as well. Coming soon:

• More official device support
• Possible iPad support
• Add options to customize the scale of the Dynamic Island
• Fix status bar size to accomodate for the Dynamic Island
• Add options to fix the position of notification banners (below the island) and/or set custom positioning

I know that just recently a chinese tweak was discovered to do something very similar, and just last yesterday a Misaka tweak dev released something similar, but VisibleIsland is kind of a combination of the two. It's in English, and you can directly enable the island from the tweak itself.

To install the tweak, add my repo to sileo:

As of now the repo isn't optimized for rootless and only for roothide, but I'll have it working on rootless in the next day or so.

I hope you enjoy, more coming soon, I plan to make this one of (if not) the best Dynamic Island tweak available.

Description

Automatically takes timed screenshots on iOS.

It won't use any official screenshot interface, so theoretically it will not be detected as a screenshot by apps.

It probably won't work on apps that disallow screenshots, such as streaming services (during streaming), due to the nature of how this view is displayed.

Developed for rootless environments. Tested on iPhone 13/iOS 15.3.

Usage

Enable the tweak in settings and set the desired interval time for capturing your screen.

Screenshots will be saved to /var/mobile/Documents/Screenshots.

Options might require two resprings to apply.

Features

Ignore duplicated screenshots

When this option is enabled, if the device's screen is the same as the last captured one, it will not be saved. It's useful when you leave your device stuck on some screen. Be aware that if even one single byte is different, it will be saved nonetheless, which includes, of course, the time changing in the status bar. Another handy use is when you SSH into your device and lock it, as it would keep taking screenshots of a wallpaperless lock screen.

Screenshot quality

The quality of the resulting image, expressed as a value from 1 to 100. The value 1 represents the maximum compression (or lowest quality) while the value 100 represents the least compression (or best quality). Useful for saving storage. Based on compressionQuality from UIImageJPEGRepresentation.
