I was kinda bored and since i cannot find an adblock tweak for my iPhone 5s (12.5.7). i decided to go the classic unix way. and since i said i was bored so i wrote thsi post

Requirements:

• Full read-write file system acesss (we editin shit in /etc) this is usually attainable by a rootful jailbreak
• a way to write commands (terminal, openssh) openssh recommended. but a terminal app should do fine
• hosts file from this github repo from the RAW FILE SOURCES section

copy/download the hosts file to the target filesystem.

$HFILE = replace with your own hosts file location.

Enter the following text in the code section.

rm /etc/hosts

since the hosts file already have local loopback. we dont need the old one. remember to replace $HFILE

mv $HFILE /etc/hosts

To update the blocklist. just rinse and repeat

I've developed a small tweak that removes the annoying paste alerts introduced in iOS 16. This tweak was created after I received several complaints from users of my other tweak, CopyLogFix16, who noticed the paste alert more frequently (even though it's purely an iOS 16 feature and unrelated to CopyLog nor my fix tweak).

While similar tweaks exist, I couldn’t confirm their credibility or find open-source versions, so I decided to release my own.

In short, this tweak eliminates the paste confirmation popups on iOS 16—nothing more, nothing less.

Hello all…

Given the events of today, I finally have a chance to sit down and give this page some attention.

I wanted to provide an update on the status of MYbloXX for rootless setups and iOS 15+. Unfortunately, due to various personal and professional commitments, I haven't been able to dedicate the time needed to fully update the tweak.

I have started working on it, and there's a partial package that functions, but it still requires additional work and corrections before it can be ready for public release or even a beta version. My current situation is a bit complicated; I’m now using a rootless setup with Bootstrap/Serotonin, which limits the tools and resources available to me for completing this project.

Given my busy schedule and these technical limitations, I’m considering passing the project on to a trusted friend in the community who could potentially finish it and prepare it for release. While there isn't a huge amount of work remaining, it’s enough that it won’t be ready immediately. However, I want to reassure you that the project is still active and hasn’t been abandoned.

Now for the Discord picture fiasco this week:

I can’t believe I even have to come here to discuss this but I need to clear something up… Individuals are re-posting a screenshot that was sent in the Wicked Discord support group by me that contained a private image of me. Who knew my junk would be a jailbreak topic?! Ridiculous… Anyway;

Here's what happened: There was a problem with the Snapchat tweak Wicked this past weekend. I had a temporary ban that got resolved shortly after it was issued but I ran into an issue with the camera not loading properly inside of Snapchat (but worked everywhere else)... I took a screenshot to show the problem in the Wicked support group, not realizing it exposed a private photo from my camera roll. The new version of Snapchat now automatically shows the last few images in your camera roll as a preview on the main camera screen, something I’m not used to at all. This screenshot quickly became a joke among the Wicked mods and was removed almost immediately. Unfortunately, someone grabbed it and started spreading it around, likely among people I’ve had issues with before in this community and they’re beginning to use it for some sort of gain.

I apologize on their behalf for them sharing it everywhere (and seemingly continue to do so as soon as it’s removed from where they post)… The mods here have been good about getting it pulled almost immediately (thank you) and multiple times in my support groups too. It’s to the point where I’m between wasting the time going back and forth deleting, blocking, banning for them to just create a new account to rinse and repeat or just leave it up, give them whatever kick they’re aiming for and call it a day.

But yeah… Sorry again for anybody that may have been exposed to it.

This is just a wakeup call to everyone, please change/update ALL YOUR PASSWORDS whether your also being blackmailed(PEGASUS emails) /phishing scammed or not. It’s definitely wise to be cautious about the sideloaded apps you install, as concerns about backdoor programs and other malicious activities are valid. Recently I started receiving random emails of someone using ghost email accounts, who has my name and address and phone number requesting $1900-$1950 claiming he has been watching me, claims to of put a backdoor aka PEGASUS into a sideloaded app, claims to have evidence on me probably has access to my camera roll, messages, private vault etc.. He also sent me one of my passwords and a picture of my house from google maps. I know its just a blackmail scam from a either a leaked database or sideloaded app with malware but regardless CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS! if you want to see if your data has been leaked there is a website to do so. Most of you may know this site but type your email in and it will tell you what websites got breached leaking your passwords and address etc. just be safe out there and don't install everything you see unless its validated on the jailbreak reddit or some type of reputable forums/website there are evil people in this world!!!!!

Network Manager allow you to force 3G/4G/5G connection. You'll tell me it's native on ios....yes but on iphone 15 ios 17 for example you can't choose 3G anymore on some carriers (like Orange Fr for me). So where i work Orange doesn't have a 5G antenna so i see 5G on my screen but it works 1/5 time, the same in 4G, i have to respring, air plane mode, turn off data, turn on...and it's take me my time and my nerves!

Before on my iphone 12 ios 14 with Taurine it was easy to activate 3G.

And today i have find that there is a Trollstore version of Network Manager!!!!!!!!

(injecting FLEX to Clock app)

Since it’s possible to open the Clock app after an iPhone reboots without being unlocked (BFU), you could execute any code or open any UI you want (by injecting a .dylib) within the Clock app. Because the phone is in BFU mode, it can "open custom app" in secure environment. Do any tweak developers have thoughts on this?
