Lay-z-boy might be worth a look. I don't have a couch but I have several reclining chairs. They've all held up well for 10 years and then some.

Yeah, the headline is true but wages need to rise to do anything about it, short of UBI which I personally think is unlikely in the US. I think we obviously need a new minimum wage that a person can actually live on, but I would take it a step further. I think it should be tied to market cap. In other words, the bigger the corporation, the higher their minimum wage bracket becomes. This would give some advantage to small, community owned businesses too.

Seems overdue but I notice they don't mention how likely it is to pass. I'll be pleasantly surprised if this becomes law.

They are literally strapped to enough explosives to kill them many times over. It may not require any skill, but it is certainly dangerous.

Supposing Stargate technology exists, you could conceivably control an entire galaxy, but that is proposing the existence of technology incompatible with our best understanding of the universe. Realistically the solar system will probably be the limit of my empire.
