TBH I never associated it with a slur.

The fetish however....

Note that most of that 46% is likely Canadian goods that fall under CUSMA. Which means most of that, if not all, is also "emergency" tariffs.

We all have or own experiences.

Mine is that it helps in organization, which makes changes easier.

Sure, it might be a lot of places, it might not(well designed microservice arch says hi.)

What proper OOP design does is to make the changes required to be predictable and easily documented. Which in turn can make a many step process faster.

Its sort of amusing how Trump and Carney are coming away from this summit very differently.

Trump has a gaudy crown, he surrendered to China on his own tariffs, fauned over Japan's new far right PM and has a meaningless apology(which he should not have been given) from Carney.

Carney is coming away with initial agreements with over two dozen countries.

Here because its a great experiment and a reminder of the old internet that is otherwise mostly lost.

A cynical view would be that he realizes that we as a species are doomed, and wants everyone to at least be comfortable as the world becomes unlivable for us.

Christy Clark did Not use the Notwithstanding Clause.

She legislated a contract into being, and that was determined to be illegal.

To add on a hypothetical:

If someone drives into you and totals their car and hurts you while you are on work business, they only worry about paying for your costs. The car is a tax writeoff to them.

If someone drives into you and totals your car and hurts you while you are on work business, they need to now worry about paying for you and your car.

Replaced pop/soda with tea(specifically looseleaf) about 15 years ago. At first needed it sweetener(with honey) to enjoy. Now, no sweetener at all is best.

And there are so many awesome flavours.

Right now I have a fantastic vanilla and peppermint tea as my latest addition.

Spinosaurus.

Because it stymies paleontologists seemingly every time one of them tries to figure it out.
