To add on to what others said. Also having universal healthcare could be a result of a former more left wing government that implemented it and could have proven very popular, thus not worth removing by future more right wing governments.

There's a huge monster attacking the city, it blasts a building and it's about to crash on a group of people. A female superhero flies in and starts rescuing people and placing them out of harms way. Quickly she gets to the incel who stops her with a hand gesture and says "I'm okay I'll wait for the male superhero"

But maybe the people who were working in big studio movies would shift to independent film making with lower budgets and more diversity.

Not necessarily. There's scores of people working for these companies that do content moderation, customer support and other jobs in this realm that are not quite as sought after and can't easily switch jobs.
