Yeah, Nintendo is smoking unfiltered crack, lol. Who the hell has $80-90 to throw at every game in the midst of an unnecessary economic downturn and possible worldwide meltdown?

Yes. And unless your sewer systems use incinerators, people have to do manual removal.

According to one of my buddies who works in municipal waste, the incinerators are completely self-sustaining once lit, due to the fat content in our waste. We spent five hours talking about his job and all the insane stuff that happens down there. (People getting high on shrooms and scaling the walls to jump into cesspools, serial clothing flushers who clog the sewer lines, hospitals illegally dumping radioactive waste through incinerators, the benefits of incinerators over landfills, but the optics of incinerators looking worse politically, the NIMBYS blocking new sewer infrastructure from being built and funded, despite it saving their own toilets from backing up during storms, climate change affecting and causing pump stations to flood, etc.)

Do you use a bed protector between the sheets and mattress? Humans sweat a lot at night, naturally. Bed protectors protect against the 7+ fluids that can come out of you, lol. It might be worth a shot.

Dropping the U's from words such as "colour" - I get the simplification argument and I'd take or leave them, but I'm pro-U.

The pronunciation seems slightly different too, Color (Kolor) vs colour (coul-err). Or at least I pronounce them slightly differently depending on which word I read.

Even some places in the US are switching over to calling them WCs.

That's totally fine! You can still ask people out just the same as anyone else. Love finds those who don't explicitly seek it out. Form friendships, and love is a natural extension of that.

That goes for any sexual orientation, too. Being nice to people goes a long way.

The way to my heart is kindness, gardening, and shortalls (because God, people look so cute in them).

Edit: I misread the question. I thought it was "lowest quality product that you still use" (I was distracted)

Original comment: Harbor freight calipers. Surprisingly still accurate and undamaged through years of abuse. Kind of amazing, and shockingly useful.

Roo's mom comes to mind, as well as a number of pokemon, mostly conventional ones, possibly a few lesser known/thought of ones too.

Yep, history is always important. Books on history also help you find solutions to today's (annoyingly recurrent) problems, too.

DC is interesting in that it was a great mixing area because of all the postwar army bases. WW2 allowed many rural people from all walks of life to mix together, and people who were gay/bi/lesbian+ all had the chance to mix together for the first time in...well...perhaps ever, for everyone from small town Kansas to big city NYC. That opened doors for a lot of our ancestors.

And ironically, the lavender scare is what later precipitated into the gay rights movement, when everyone got sick of mandatory butthole inspections at work, and started suing and winning. (Embellishing a bit, but you get the gist)

I love it when freezing rain does this. It's so pretty on bushes and grasses :)
