True, but I think that the microphone communication that Binary Domain offers is a unique feature that OP will appreciate.

"Binary Domain" is an option. You are almost all the time accompanied by 1-3 NPCs of your Team. The game also has a, more or less working, voice System to talk to your team through your microphone. That way you can give orders and have some small talk. The game is quite good, give it a try.

Doom 1 and, to some extent, 2. Honestly.

I know exactly what you are looking for and the classic Doom games are perfect for this, because they are simple, yet they still feel good to play.

Not too fast, not too slow. No jump scares, only some light puzzles if you want to hunt secrets. There is almost a rhythm to the combat, especially if you play with the shotgun. Try them.

I don’t see why people with money should get benefits in the legal system?

Because they are rich, duh!

I very much recommend the two previous games by Richardson:

Four Last Things

The Procession to Calvary

"Cool, tell me about them. Sounds like an interesting life."

Despite not being sure about returning to it, I finished "Lost Judgment". Took me another 20 hours on top of the 30 I already spent on it.

I will preface this by saying, that I love the Yakuza series this is based on. But man did I hate "Judgment" and "Lost Judgment". The mechanics are good and the second one improves them in a lot of ways, but the writing of the story and the characters is just really bad. I am glad that there will never be a third part.

I also played the first hour of "Quake 4". Feels like "Quake of Duty", not impressed.

That was... something.

I liked the creativity and the humor, but it certainly was not the best way to present games. It was kind of difficult to follow and the names of the games weren't shown long or prominently enough.

Anyway, wishlisted Menace, Mars Tactics and Breachway.
