If you have a true Aloe vera at home, cut one leave of it about the length you need. cut it longitudinally in two halves and put them with the gel side on the skin. Fix it with a bandage or so and leave it for hours until its dry.

I once burned really severe, put Aloe as a first aid and went to a doctor to get real medicine. he asked me how big my plant is cause if i had enough that would be better than any medicine he could give me.

I guess you went to the wrong shop then. In pharmacies or shops open at crazy hours this might be true. We usually buy all products for Hygiene and beauty in shops we call "Drogerie". The most common two chains are Rossmann and DM. There you get sun screen for 3-15€ from various Brands.

This and nowadays (at least here in Europe) you find lots of sun screen without titanium dioxide. They all have a label with corals on it (they call it in hawaian agreement?). So its very easy to avoid nanoparticles AND protect skin. Also, its not like a few years ago that you look like a vampire when using sun screen without nanoparticles.

Still, the people on permanent positions are rare and act as the masterminds behind the research rather than doing research themselves. Professors are guiding their PhDs and postdocs through experiments and writing. If all these people that are more or less early in their careers that are working on Grant money get defunded, than even Professors cannot really do science anymore cause they lack the staff... And of course this future Generation of Professors is looking for other Jobs or leaving the US if they can.

Reine Grundlagenforschung. :)

I did a quick search. A liter of vodka has about 23 shots. So 5,3l in a year is equivalent to 122 shots per year. Thats 2.35 shots per week. Since usually u drink at least two shots when you start with one, one could asume they only drink once a week about 2 shots, 3 on a special day.

In Addition to everything else it helps planning babies (or not to have babies) too. At least for those people with a More or less regular cycle, these apps usually show you the dates where ovulation is most likely to happen. So in case you are planning a baby these are the dates you should defintely spend time together and in the opposite case these are the days where extra attention is needed / fast action in case of an accident.

Bahn liefert.

Most of the Museums are free for people younger than 18 anyways. But for adults the Museum pass is a great advice.

I am desperately looking for a small phone compatible with a privacy friendly OS, best would be if the phone is not too old, lets say Less than 3 years.

I had a pixel 5 with graphene. Its Brocken and to be honest it was already too big for my small hands.

Usually phones with a width less than 70mm are considered easy to use with one Hand -even with small hands. I dont need a big screen at all since i have good eyes and use small fonts.

E.g. the unihertz jelly max seems perfect but i didnt find an easy way to put a privacy friendly OS.

On the other Hand looking at the supported devices oft graphene/ callyx and e/OS not a single one seems to offer ONE small phone.

Are there people here with the same Problem? Whats your solution?

I See 2 options for me: either i get a cheap (second Hand) big phone and hope that there will be smaller phones again in the near future. or i give up on using phones with one Hand and get a fairphone or pixel (second hand) again... What do you think is better? The Option to compromise in privacy is not an Option for me.
