Our colliders are a joke when it comes to the energy levels they have. So there is no need to assume we can detect special stuff with them. Even the Higgs boson took ages to statistical detect, despite only being 125 GeV.

Excel has its fair share of problems and lack of even basic features that should have been included 20 years ago. Anything around diagrams is pure cancer, for example.

Where do you draw the line? Sounds like "occupation" as you use it has little to do with the common usage and definition of that word.

It is only awesome if the same power could not have made 10x with the conventional systems. But who knows without absolute numbers?

 

In "Dodger" by Terry Pratchett: Why does Dodger scratch "Kaspar" in the carriage of the embassy before setting everything on fire? There is no character I know with that name and if he just randomly picks a German(?) name, why should it remind anyone of him then?
