While I don't necessarily agree with all the methods used in the vid I thought it was interesting to see how long term planning can have an enourmous effect when it comes to restoring greenery and wildlife in an otherwise deserted area

It's where the Nazi's were invited to debate them in the market place of ideas. They lost and were too embarassed to ever come out.

Such a train would be a massive win for the world. Imagine being able to get from Amsterdam to Barcelona in this train in +-3 hours (including stops, probably). Making it affordable would completely destroy European flights, which is a good thing.

The thought that this won't last is actually pretty comforting. I do hope the next thing is better, though.

'You don't get it. Israel NEEDS to bomb thousands of children because otherwise they will be attacked 🥺'

I don't see anyone holding up signs celebrating those hostages. Hostages who Israel also refused to take back. And it's funny how nobody is talking about thousands of Palestinians who have been taken and jailed by Israel on bullshit charges.

Nobody is celebrating the hostages. It's just an emotional abuse card people pull up when Israel's genocidal tactics get pointed out. And then we suddenly feel bad for hostages. Thousands of dispalced, kidnapped and killed people on Palestinian side don't get the same treatment.
