Dems as a political party, are technically dead in the water.

Because they're now split into several ideological factions, while that fucking GOP elephant is set to crush them.

I love the attempt to draw people to the classic shock sites of old, but I simply have to complain about this sign:

Lemons are sour, not bitter. This should read "politics left you sour?" instead.

[–] amda@feddit.nl 8 points 17 hours ago

Maybe that's the idea? Use the sour to fight the bitter

Mr. Hair Splitter over here.

I am honestly surprised this site still exists.

Edit: well after reading the comments I decided to have a look and of course its been sanitized. The internet has become a fucking nursery.

goatse.ru still gets you that good old school Internet shit though.

My state passed a constitutional amendment prohibiting ranked-choice voting. So it's only a choice between fascism or diet fascism.

[–] IzzyJ@lemmy.world 0 points 16 hours ago* (last edited 16 hours ago)

Well that's disappointing. Do amendments not require public support there

My country has a beer party, and it actually holds some seats in local jurisdictions. Their candidate came in third (out of iirc 8) in the last presidential election.

[–] fartographer@lemmy.world 94 points 2 days ago (1 children)

It's just another party run by old white men

[–] Agent641@lemmy.world 19 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Just more old white dudes. Hardly an innovative political party.

I repeat, do NOT follow the link

[–] hateisreality@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

It's not what it was.... It's some censored quasi version that auto takes you to a bootleg social site

[–] MilitantAtheist@lemmy.world 9 points 1 day ago* (last edited 17 hours ago)

I don't believe you. I want another option to established parties. Enough of these old balls in power.

[–] imetators@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 1 day ago

I legit thought that that is a real party. But then, thanks t your comment, I remembered a meme I saw on here about lemon party.

Think everyone needs to see that image once in their life.

I miss the old internet

I think most would say lemons are sour rather than bitter.

[–] abc@feddit.uk 31 points 1 day ago (9 children)

not to be pedantic but is this the uk? 👀 on the right it looks like there’s the grey back of a road sign. plus the houses, wheelie bins, the cracked concrete paving and red-purple tarmac all scream british to me

[–] lechekaflan@lemmy.world 2 points 16 hours ago

In a UK setting, could be talking about Labor and Tories.
