All you need is a source. It’s National enquirer shit, except instead of two random ass people telling you Elvis is still alive living underneath Las Vegas you have the governor of a Utah with a clear agenda running his mouth about trans people and since he’s a notable “reputable” source you report it. Journalism truly in shambles. I mean you are just reporting what comes out of the guys mouth but you can also choose to report some things and not other things and the fact that they decided to report his “this is leftists” thing with no real evidence they are just showing their whole asses

They are reporting that people they have talked to WERE TOLD BY INVESTIGATORS THAT THEY THINK THEY HAD A ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP AND THEY THINK THE ROOM MATE MIGHT BE TRANS.
I'm surprised they didn't do more to manufacture something on Tyler when he was arrested. It's kind of like they were all so sure the shooter would be brown, an immigrant, or trans that they got lazy. Now it's getting late and they need something before files are charged this week. Chuds have been putting in OT either being voluntarily mods for the whole internet or manufacturing photos/text.
If I'm giving them a little bit more grace, I think they just weren't aware of how big the far right (farther than Kirk) is, so they hadn't even thought of the possibility that the shooter's politics would be to the right of Kirk's. It's Utah, I doubt they thought it would be anything but a cis white dude.
Just goes to show something even more horrifying. This hatred is actually based on nothing, they just want people dead literally because “no reason, I just don’t like them.”
They blame them for all their problems, so if their problems are caused by literally anything else (especially themselves) their entire worldview falls apart.
