I swear every thread has the same 100 people in it so my upvote counter is pretty high for most people. Wondering what it’s at for other people on Lemmy. You tell me my vote count and I’ll tell you what I have for you :)

This is the option under User Tags? What does Store Source Link mean?

[–] dream_weasel@sh.itjust.works 3 points 17 hours ago

+1. Just enabled as well.

[–] SolarMonkey@slrpnk.net 1 points 16 hours ago* (last edited 16 hours ago)

I don’t have a counter for you. I’m not sure I’ve ever come across your stuff before. At least not on this account. One of the others may have found you.

I mean I do now from this post, but before that.

I have the feature enabled, but I don't have any vote history for you.

[–] anas@lemmy.world 2 points 19 hours ago

I’m getting the sense that I don’t upvote people enough, most of my tracked votes are negative.

[–] theherk@lemmy.world 2 points 21 hours ago

WTH? When was that added? I’ve been using this since wefwef and I hadn’t a clue.

[–] AceFuzzLord@lemm.ee 4 points 1 day ago

It is now +1 because I didn't know there was a feature for something like this.

[–] madjo@feddit.nl 44 points 2 days ago (3 children)

You guys are getting upvotes?

[–] NotSteve_@lemmy.ca 8 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I have you at +7 so you are for sure :)

You're actually now a +6 for me.

[–] NotSteve_@lemmy.ca 6 points 1 day ago

You’re at +23 for me!

[–] RedditAdminsSuckIt@lemmy.world 25 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

I’m new here. What am I looking for?

Edit: Found it. Everyone is at 0 because it wasn’t enabled. That’s a fun feature

[–] nimble@lemmy.blahaj.zone 28 points 1 day ago (3 children)

If you use voyager (app to access lemmy) then you can go to settings -> user tags -> track votes and turn it on. It will then show a running counter next to people's names for the total number of upvotes/ downvotes you've given someone.

Welcome to lemmy!

[–] SpatchyIsOnline@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago

Ooh, that is neat! I've been using Lemmy for months and didn't know this was a thing. You're my first tracked upvote now :)

TIL that’s a thing. It wasn’t even turned on for me

[–] AnUnusualRelic@lemmy.world 3 points 21 hours ago

I discovered it today as well. I enabled it for now but I don't know if it's really a good idea.

[–] NotSteve_@lemmy.ca 32 points 2 days ago

Yeah! It’s fun but definitely exposes that the average comment section is mostly made up of the same people.

I have you at +2

[–] gigachad@sh.itjust.works 38 points 2 days ago (2 children)

First time I read about that feature. It seems it starts counting only after you enable it, unfortunately.

[–] NotSteve_@lemmy.ca 16 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Aw yeah, that makes sense. I have you at +1 before this comment

[–] Thaurin@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

Yeah, I just enabled it after reading this!

[–] slazer2au@lemmy.world 32 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Zero because the setting is off.

[–] NotSteve_@lemmy.ca 5 points 1 day ago

Aw. I have you at +33 though!

[–] limerod@reddthat.com 27 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Where do you enable this setting?

[–] JackGreenEarth@lemm.ee 19 points 2 days ago (1 children)
[–] limerod@reddthat.com 22 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (1 children)

Interesting such a feature exists in voyager. If I hadn't seen this post I never would've found it even if I used voyager for years.

[–] alucard@sopuli.xyz 5 points 1 day ago

Thank you for pointing it out!

[–] nimble@lemmy.blahaj.zone 10 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Use voyager -> Settings-> user tags -> track votes

[–] ApollosArrow@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

Thank you. I should update my apps more often.

[–] datavoid@lemmy.ml 13 points 1 day ago (3 children)

I have you at +1 now, and added a "Probably Steve" tag for good measure

Didn't realise this was a feature. Just enabled it.

You are at +1 now.

Edit: +4 after reading the comments. I'm a prolific upvoter.

Seems like a fun feature. I have enabled it and will try Voyager for a bit see if I like it more than jerboa.

[–] LadyButterfly@lazysoci.al 8 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Do you mean upvotes on this post? I'm old and confused

[–] grrgyle@slrpnk.net 8 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It's a feature of the Voyager app, a type of user "tags" that adds the number of times you've upvoted someone next to their username, like so

[–] LadyButterfly@lazysoci.al 3 points 1 day ago

Ahhhhh... thanks mate. I have Upvoted you one time

I have you at +22 😅

[–] Zugyuk@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

I have you at +3 notsteve 😊

[–] megane_kun@lemm.ee 2 points 1 day ago

Don't use Voyager that often, but you're currently +4

Just enabled that feature, so everyone is at 0
