For me it's a track by an artist called tuki:
ひゅるりらぱっぱ - HYURURIRAPAPPA

This is my favorite new to me song of the month: https://pearlcharlesmusic.bandcamp.com/track/does-this-song-sound-familiar-12-version
tagged as rock, desert rock, folk rock, garage pop, psych folk, psychedelic pop
HappyHappy: Cream Cheese. Song
Sayonara Wild Heart which is a synth-pop album and a rhythm game simultaneously.
Aviators, I like a lot of their game inspired music such as A Thousand Eyes, inspired by Bloobourne and some of their personal creations such as "Godhunter," and "My Church"
green day all day rn, my girlfriend got me their entire discography and ive been loving it. saviors is an amazing album on top of their classics
Idc about Coachella usually but been loving the banter between them and Charli
The Armed and Idles. Seriously can't get enough of them.
The Heavy
Kaleo
All the music on the show Letterkenny is amazing and whoever curated that is a genius. I especially like Peaches, Fuck The Pain Away.
Hell yes, I already several songs from the show on my regular playlists.
It's just so perfectly selected. Not much music I would normally listen to, but it's all really lovely to have discovered.
Lol that song has been around forever. Still a banger!
I remember dancing to it at alternative music night at the bar when I was 23.
From what I know, Keeso himself is the guy.
Agreed, some of the best music selection for a show of all time.
Don't sleep on the Shoresy soundtrack either.
I haven't gotten to Shoresy yet but yes I hear that. Keeso is a gem, should be on stamps. His performances are just meticulously crafted.
Shoresy is incredibly good. You never expect it to have as much heart as it does considering the main character.
Oh man, Letterkenny walked so Shoresy could run. You're in for a treat.
Also I LOVE that they used French Canadian music on the show! It's so nice to hear. I will start Shoresy soon, just Letterkenny echoing in my head a bit right now. Sometimes I just play the episodes and only listen because I find the dialogue comforting as I work.
In this moment. It's kinda... Synth metal?
Carpenter Brut?
Never heard of him, just googled it and the description sounds similar. I'll check it out tomorrow as I'm about to go to bed, but thanks for something new to check out!
Synth metal is right up my alley and I'd call Carpenter Brut the king of it.
Few tracks I'd recommend in particular:
-
Hairspray Hurricane
-
Turbo Killer
-
Le Perv
There's way more than that but that's a good start. Of his albums, Trilogy is more synth, Leather Teeth is middle, and Leather Terror is more metal, but all of them go extremely hard
Chat pile. Album; Gods country
I remember seeing all the hype for that record when it came out but didn't get it until catching them live at Outbreak fest, immense stuff
Kanaan
Reign Wolf
Goodbye June
The Chats
Smoko by The Chats is an absolute masterpiece
That is the song that introduced me to them!
Propagandhi - At Peace https://youtu.be/CDhTf3eaeoM
And if you want John K Samson doing indie rock with alt-country influence, the Weakerthans are fantastic. I highly recommend listening to Reconstruction Site straight through.
His solo stuff is great as well.
Chumbawumba
On the Day the Nazi Died. Good track.
Sleep Token. New album coming soon too.
Pat the bunny recently came out of retirement and released a new album called Friends in Real Life. It's quite good, as is pretty much everything he's ever done.
This.
