Finally we know what AI is truly useful for

https://news-pravda.com/ posts multiple stories every minute, as far as I can tell just at all times. Something like this seems fairly likely.

on reddit they always cofuse it with the ukranian version of the news too, as propaganda, im sure russia knows this and isnt by accident.

on youtube, i assume murdoch also controls the "australian sky news channel" too, which sounds like UK's sky news.

Yeah. This is absolutely on purpose. What’s that hard-hitting documentary about the 2014 revolution called, it’s definitely “Ukraine on Fire” right?

The Russian propaganda seems much more effective with the right-wing people. Is that an AI thing, or are they more susceptible for other reasons?

They're more susceptible. There was a study a while back that showed Republican's amigdila(brain fear center) are larger on average. Advertising also notice they're guillible long ago. Fox new ad space hosts cons like my pillow, reverse mortgages and trump merch because they'll buy it.

they fall for crypto scams, and scams in general all the time too.

Sounds to me like someone just figured out their next research project.

As a final step, the authors conducted a survey of 880 American adults recruited through the online survey platform Prolific and found that the content in the post-adoption period maintained the same level of persuasiveness as the pre-AI period. According to the authors, immediate action should be taken to mitigate the influence of AI-assisted propaganda campaigns.

America just elected Donald trump for a second time and they are worried about Russian propaganda

How many times do you need to hit yourself on the head with mallet in order to believe Russian propaganda is the problem ?

[–] ALoafOfBread@lemmy.ml 2 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

Russian propaganda is a problem for the US in the same way US propaganda is a problem for Russia. But Russia seems to be much better at it. Basically, all states are engaged in some degree of antagonistic propaganda and that does sometines cause problems - because it is intended to cause problems. Doesn't mean it's the only problem.
