Given the peculiar references made in the article like referring to bilbys as a rabbit-eared bandicoot chipmunk species, this is clearly a spam news site that pushes articles from legitimate sites through ChatGPT. Here is the same news article from a legitimate source https://www.aljazeera.com/amp/news/2024/8/21/australia-greenlights-19bn-solar-project-to-export-power-to-singapore

I had the same question. According to Britannica, Australian bandicoots are marsupials, not rodents.
