I was in Austin this past April and I was surprised not only by the huge number of Waymo cars on the road, but also by how well they performed. The thing to note is that these cars are jam packed with advanced sensors sprouting from all over its body like mushrooms. Even then, they still made mistakes like getting stuck in Chik-fil-a drive-thrus. Tesla opted to forgo all advanced detection systems in favor of shitty cameras. I cannot see any scenario where Teslas can perform in any acceptable manner with the built-in equipment.

EDIT: The fact that Robotaxis don't work when it rains is hilarious and reminds me of that terrible old Eddie Murphy movie (Best Defense I think) in which an autonomous fighter drone goes crazy because they washed it for an air show and the general asks them "have any of you bozos ever heard of rain?!?" Something like that. It's been decades.
