Overview:
Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. This community is where we discuss the various different vehicles and news stories regarding electric transportation.

Even now I'm pretty sure they have one of the best if not the best drivetrains. The problem is everything else is total trash and you won't be able to fix it if anything goes wrong
What's special about their engine tech? Electric motors are a very mature technology, so I'd like to hear some details about this.
Even if they fired Elon tomorrow I wouldn't buy one for this reason. A few years ago they were the only viable option for an electric car, so people overlooked a lot to get one of them. But now there's a ton of electric cars and even more coming out in the future. Why would I go with a company that's had pretty significant issues over one from a company with more experience building cars?
