He was good at it, everyone liked him, and his AI image will be cheaper so he can host the show in perpetuity.

Everyone wins, unless you had ambition to become chat show host. Because that seat is staying filled .

Ultimately it just means the same IP is going to be rinsed to death and Mission Impossible 132 will still start Tom cruise.
