The checkm8 exploit is a hardware exploit affecting bootrom that made the checkra1n and palera1n jailbreaks possible.

Apple ended support for checkm8 iPhones such as the iPhone X and older starting with iOS 17, but some checkm8 iPads could still run iPadOS 17 and could be jailbroken with palera1n.

Now, it seems Apple will cut those devices off from updates as well, starting with iPadOS 18.

No more checkm8 jailbreaks :(

I'm here to introduce the iPA Swapper, a small handy utility written in Bash which is able to dump/pull the Installed apps from the device via SSH connection. It's has the ability to backup and restore app data and to repack the dumped apps into .IPA extension so you will be able to install the app as you have downloaded right from the AppleStore.

The swap feature seems to be useless and this due to Apple DRM feature, but I left it there in case it's could be useful to someone in the feature.

I have a genuine question. Just to provide a bit of background, I've never jailbroken my iPhone, although I remember hearing about it from a friend around 2007. It sounded intriguing at the time, but I never delved into it. Frankly, I'm quite content with my iPhone as it is and haven't felt the need to customize it extensively.

However, I can't help but wonder if there's a key piece of information I might be missing. Is there perhaps a killer app or feature that I'm unaware of? I'd be interested to hear about what you have installed on your jailbroken iPhone and what makes it appealing to you.

Title. Want to get some Airpods Pro 2 (preferably new, because gross), but the 2023 USB-C model requires iOS 17 or 80% of the features will not work.

Supposedly the Pro 2 Lightning ones work fine on 16, but they were discontinued a few months ago. I visited 4 different stores, and no one had these old models in stock, and eBay / FB Marketplace is majority fakes and scams :(

Unless someone is able to get PodsGrant working for these, it doesn't work on this new model.

EDIT: Apparently the refurbs came back in stock at Apple.com shortly after making this post lol. It says 2022 model and the pics have a lightning port, so these should be the right ones.

Just ordered a set, I will update when they get here on if they are in fact the Lightning model or if they send USB-C ones instead.

Hi All,

Just pushed MagsafeEnabler to my repo. This tweak was originally created by tomaszpoliszuk, but they seem to have dropped of the jailbreak scene. Depection of the OG Package for reference;

This version removes unnecessary code for iOS 16+ and is compiled for rootless only

It should work on any iOS 16 device, but if it works on iOS 15 let me know

Just a quick post to let you know that I have update my 2 tweak with

Tako:

• Limited Y Position to -15 so it won’t overlap the clock

• Tweak now won’t install on iOS 16.0 and iOS 15.0-15.1.1
• Support AutoUnlockX
• Support Glow
• Fixed some theoretical respring cases that might occur in some versions

OCD!

• Split the tweak to 2 Sections, you can now color badges / icon individually (requested a lot)

• Fixed (should be) folder label with first icon color if no notifications in folder
