That worked for me, thanks.

someone very powerful in the Iranian power structure wants to wind down the proxy strategy and they're not above using Mossad to solve their problems for them

Isn't it contradictory to imply "someone" (who?) betrayed these military commanders by giving orders to the military (like to air defense to stand down)? If they could do that already, why go through this much trouble?

There would have been many easier ways to go about such a conspiracy, if we had any grounds to believe one existed, which I'd like to see.. Was there any evidence before of infighting escalating to the point normal legal and political means are exhausted? Domestic assassinations are not enough? Bringing in the revolutionary guard is not enough? Using Iranian secret services is not enough? No it has to be nothing less than a foreign air force, really? I'd like to see much more evidence before I believe that.

Chuds like the one quoted here always want to see infighting between what they see as "terrorist countries" and the prospect of a large, united and powerful country with an Islamic culture actually doing something might just be too much for them to conceive.

Ah, that's why I got some weird vibes from this talking about "random terrorists"and stuff.

No, I heard it a few hours before that. It sounded unclear.

Are you sure about Esfahan? I had heard there were hits near it, but it might just have been rumors.

Our mental health is really important, but there's more: staying informed or informing others about an imperialist conflict should serve the main purpose of informing us how to organize against it. For example in the imperial core, it's important to counter narratives and lower support for the endless wars. That had an impact on Vietnam for example. Doomerism is fine if it's just:"it's not going well and here is why". But if it's like:"it's not going well, therefore everything is pointless and lost already", then it goes against the whole point of staying informed, which is supporting organizing efforts.

If people absolutely need to vent frustration, they should do so with statements about their emotions. Like: "I feel sad, I feel overwhelmed, I'm scared, I need support". Maybe, since society primes many of us to hide these emotions, we instead frame them in terms of rational analysis, when what we really need is just to stay kind and soft and vulnerable. I know it's not easy in the face of such horrors, and I kind of failed at it myself today.

Alhamdulillah! (I'm not a theist, but still really relieved they're online)

Yes, definitely! Love and solidarity. When we're angry, it's because we still care.

His words seem to be English and yet nothing seems to make any sense. Wittgenstein said if lions could talk, we wouldn't understand them. The same seems to be true for capitalists. Our worlds overlap to an extent. But they don’t overlap sufficiently for humans and capitalists to truly "get" each other.
