You are entitled to this but I don’t understand why it makes a difference if the icon is above or below the url here.

If you have bookmarks hidden, thats an argument for a pretty bookmark manager.

Still hardware is expensive.

With the current tools i don’t think there is a specific hurdle. The biggest ones are funding and time.

You have to build expensive prototypes, learn from them and repeat that process till we are happy with the result.

Exactly, and if its important you just bookmark it.

I tend to shorten my bookmarks to just a space so in practice they are just a row of tiny icons anyway. They are always at the same spot and only take resources when needed.

I would love a vertical bookmark sidebar but for some reason we have to reinvent the wheel with tabs.

Can someone at least help me understand what tabs have that bookmarks don’t?

If i have more then 4 tabs open i get anxious because i can’t intuitively remember what each does. I have folders for categories of bookmarks.

One option that i am not sering here that is also very safe is install wireguard and allow them to use it via vpn.

I am not sure why this is news because global powers have been doing this for years. Similar things for decades.

Propaganda to get the subjects of an enemy to join your good liberating cause is a bog standard tactic.

It’s a bit of an infantile joke to me but humor is subjective, what is a fact is that it is a comic. It belong here more than this comment-chain does.

Don't feel bad, you want a kid so of course you are happy. With just that you are already a better parent than many.

There will be some challenges, you might struggle a bit relating to the kids world.

Major tip i have with technology/games is do it together so they can learn context from you as events unfold, and they can show you what they actually do with(in) it, helping you assess its value/actual risks.

I am pretty sure you make up for most challenges by general experience in life though, major challenge for young parents is you need to figure out everything for the child while still trying to figure out how to adult.

Jokes on you, even when my fridge is filled to the brim it still doesn’t have any food for me, not even after the third time checking in an hour.

Audio call is the worst actually.

Live communication and no face to interpret context. Absolutely the worst.

“hello are you still there?” While my mind is still processing the previous sentence.

There do exist conditions that will cause me to pick up the phone when you call and unless you meet them i wont even tell you what they are, just send an email or text instead.
