Yeah, FL not just removed it, they stated no local areas could implement their own and that contractors were banned from implementing anything of the sort for their employees. Not sure if anyone has checked on hospitalization/ death from heart exhaustion or heat stroke since that was signed in to law.

I mean the dude basically developed protein shakes and Jeet-kun do which is considered the precursor to modern MMA and jkd students have historically done well in professional fighting. He won a boxing tournament in Hong Kong before his US emigration. Obviously we don't know how he'd fare in further professional fighting, but I think it is a reach to say he didn't do it because he wouldn't do well. He simply wanted to be an actor not a professional fighter.

Yeah, he's overhyped but he was still a cool dude.

Honestly all the holidays were a bit muted for 45 so it makes sense they're even quieter for 47. There's even more fear, anxiety, anger, etc. Not the things that really drive a party atmosphere.

You asked for spoilers so I'm not tagging them. Iron man dies, Captain America retires, black widow dies, antman joins in. There's some wonky parallel world time travel hijinks. Think those are all the big ones.

Then what? Toxic steel dust still going to exist and needs to be dealt with. Until we regulate (with teeth) corporate would rather just chuck it in our drinking water. Especially current admin basically shutting the EPA down.

A mortgage gets you a place to live with increasing amount of property ownership as time goes on. It isn't at 25% interest for one evening. You never get the money back from going to a concert, you do get at least some back on a mortgage.

No, I don't believe you should do it if it is going to make you struggle more long-term. At what point do we just agree a given amount of money you don't have is stupid to spend. If someone spent $1,000+ that they can't actually pay on a t swift concert at 25% interest, yeah, maybe you'd be in a better situation for 2y if you avoided that extra few hundred in interest for like 4y. Preventing my own struggle certainly better than a few hours of entertainment and hearing loss.

I do believe people should be paid enough to afford joys in life without struggling so much but that's not the system we have.

I love how easily people are strawmanning this into something I didn't say.
