Except that Ground Zeroes exists and also Episode 46 of Phantom Pain. This would actually have made sense if ...

Tap for spoilerHayter were involved to voice Naked Snake for his parts and then if Sutherland had only voiced Venom Snake.

But that didn't happen. No, Hideo and Konami were just idiots about it starting with Ground Zeroes.

Pffff, and if there are protests happening they HAVE to go deal with that to ensure it's unnecessarily escalated and people are oppressed.

Won't SOMEbody think of the poor pigs?

This is why I sometimes enjoy Ubisoft trash. Especially Ghost Recon Wildlands and Breakpoint. Just the same old shit on a massive map, an okay story, fun gameplay. Easy. Simple. Nice for mindless bullshit.

For an RPG, try Kingdoms of Amalur Re-reckoning.

They should not have it near the max fill line right after a change. Certainly not all the oil has settled and more will. Especially if they put oil in the filter before adding it like they should. If it's near max, then I guarantee more than max is actually inside there. There's a reason there's a range that's acceptable.

Even worse they say "the wife." I've met a few of those. Could not believe they actually talk that way.

Up there with people who use "female" far too much. Especially "females."

What about the pressure sensitive buttons from PS2? Those MGS games really needed that feature.

Countless times I can buy an older game on Steam for like $5 on sale and like $40 on Playstation sale.

Fucking idiotic.

Where do I sign up to Hail Sithis?

I want qualified people, not popular people.

See coroner's vs. medical examiners. One is a fucked up way of doing things.

Which time?

There's so much. Another one I learned more about in recent years is the horrible testing on Puerto Ricans, including the sterilizations.

For anyone interested, today there are excellent graphic novels about some of these topics, like Kent State amd Puerto Rico Strong. I would encourage people as these are excellent ways to learn more about these topics.

Gotta give VP Dick his credit where due.

We can also call out shitty design and unnecessary pressure/misinformation.

This is like saying yiu can just ignore cashiers asking you for tips or donations. How about they fuck right off and STOP.

Ys I Chronicles on Steam Deck. Adol meets Dogi for the first time, again and again if you decide to get imprisoned multiple times.

Today is Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty from the Master Collection, Volume 1 on Steam. This is really just the HD edition from a decade ago though. But they did seem to enhance the visuals a bit, and like the other collection games, it comes with some background material like a Screenplay. This was probably my 20th time playing this game on yet another platform since the original.

Here messing around with soldiers. I like the markers over their heads.

Magazines come in handy.

I also like a lot of the in-game posters. There's some mods for these too. You should give Ghost Babel a try. It's non-canon, but still a great game.

More "interesting" posters.

There's an easter egg early in the Tanker if you find a specific poster of a woman in a locker and stare at it just right, then call Otacon.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana for PS Vita. Fishing edition. Some random fishing pics I grabbed. I liked the fishing part of the game. It even slightly contributes to the story and progress if you catch them all.

Metal Gear Solid from their recent Master Collection, Volume 1. Played mostly via Steam Link and a little bit on Steam Deck. This was playing through the Japanese version (it has pretty much every version included). At this moment I think Snake's saying "that takes care of the cremation."

Here's a bonus screenshot of how this collection handles the games swap to disc 2. It does a disc flip animation showing one disc exiting and another inserting. I liked it.

And here's Johnny freaking out in Japanese.

Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake from the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection, Volume 1. Mostly played streaming to my TV via Steam Link, but also played a bit on Steam Deck. I think this is an English dub of the MSX version. This isn't the NES version. It was an excellent game for its time.

Snake also seems really concerned with Christmas as you can see.

Been having issues with lots of pics and getting errors. Apparently I have to reduce the already potato quality down to even more tater quality just to get it to allow upload.

Anyways, here's more Ys II on Steam Deck. A frozen statue allegedly holds interest in our red-haired swordsman.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, Fatesworn DLC for PS4 played on PS5.

Played this game to 100% on PS3 originally. Was fun to play it again completely, and then get a bit more story beyond the original release with this DLC.

I have always felt this was an under-appreciated action rpg with a lot of great lore, fun characters, and varying environments.

The world and lore was created by R.A. Salvatore (fantasy writer), art sonehow directed by Todd McFarlane (Spawn creator), and originally funded by Curt Schilling (baseball player), and then at one point the IP was owned by the State of Rhode Island.

So basically you're getting a story in and out of the game Ha Ha. It was wild to watch this over the years come back to life with a re-release.

Note: Apparently lemmy can't handle large pics. Had to shrink it. So it gets potato quality like my previous Vita screenshots.

The best way to see the hero involves kidnapping.

From Ys I Chronicles played on Steam Deck. An excellent older game and story.

Friends and adventurers going into the unknown together. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana for Vita.
