As a leftist I used to oppose the gun ownership for all. Now not so much. I've come to realise that in these times we need to take every measure we can to battle tyranny and fascism.
I still think it's crap if loonies have guys, 'cos I don't want American situations where there are weekly mass shootings. I do think though that when there's totalitarianism rising, we need to disarm the fascist and arm ourselves.
