I agree with the general mission of FuckCars, but it always seems full of people who don't care about anything of what goes into a prosperous city that isn't the amount of cars on the road.

Unpopular opinion: y'all call everything you don't like "reddit" (while the average Lemmy user is a lot of what people who don't use either dislike about reddit)
180 is the beginning of "fast" to me. But I can say I like a lot of fast music (I'm into J-core and punk)
In terms of how fast is "too fast" for me, my guess would be around 250, but I might've heard and liked something that fast without knowing it.
Not as ridiculous as it sounds if you read the article. They rejected the argument that they were attacking the fictional character and not the people, because they were clearly targeting the people.
The comments aren't illegal everywhere (honestly it's the kinda shit that gets said about every Vtuber, to the point where it's banal to me) but Korea probably has stricter defamation laws than, say, the US.
I hate it because I can't help reading it as a P.
The way his face is wrinkled, which doesn't occur on real people, really makes him look more intimidating and less stupid. The hair helps too.
IMO they should've just done him fully in CGI
That's like saying the trains should suck because Hitler made them run on time (I know that's a myth but still)
Also Flint, Michigan is mostly black
How do you know someone prefers Winter over Summer? Don't worry, they'll tell you.
Politics, tech, and Star Trek are the only three topics on Lemmy in any significant numbers, and even tech is politics half the time. The gaming communities are mostly politics about gaming, the porn communities are mostly dead, and forget anything more specific (other than Trek of course.)
The other commenters seem to have not realized OP said "deaths" not "killings," and "public figures" not "politicians."
I don't think there's anything unique that explains the increase in celebrity deaths though. 20th century celebs be old.
We seriously need to find a way back from whatever caused us to decide that "I as a straight or bisexual male have insecurities about my attractiveness to women" and "I as a straight or bisexual male like dating women that share my interests" is incel shit
