I think what would help in this would be more options for apps (which there are thankfully) but also an easy to read guide on how this all works and how to sign up and get on board. It’s complexity vague in this effort. Which does weed out the certain kind of people who aren’t tech savvy. But it would help its numbers quite a bit.

I was on reddit since around 2010. Had probably 500k karma in total? I was around before the apps. Still in the air of early internet vibes. It was a great place to find your community and chat.

I got my first ever temp ban a month ago for saying Luigi started a movement that our world needs. For billionaires need to be afraid of every day people.

Got a ban on r/news. Then shortly after a full ban.

I’ve been banned from plenty of right wing subs and it’s never been an issue. But one comment into their top corporate subreddit did it. So I left. Fuck em. There is no free speech there and to be honest. The quality of comments and community has dropped so heavily since 2016 that it doesn’t feel like a loss to me. Reddit community used to have standards and free speech for anyone. Now it’s no different from Facebook. Shitty joke comments on serious topics. Bots everywhere. It’s just a black hole now.

Ya sorry im new here. Not sure why its flagging me as a bot?

Oh man that sounds like more work than I’m willing to give this morning. But can I ask why this is relevant to my question?

I’m no expert on the subject, by why don’t more people/companies look into indoor farming as an alternative?

To be the most effective we have to be protesting in front of houses of people who actually influence change. I’ve been too far too many protests and it feels like they mean nothing. Only way to make change is to stop taking it to the streets. And taking it to houses of billionaires and politicians who actually are in control of change.

Oh ya of course it is. It’s not just plain chicken and plain waffles. They have a mixture of spices. Like cinnamon, they use those spices in both the chicken and the waffles.

Also I don’t think you’ll find a good chicken and waffle spot in France

You just need to go to the right place and try them. There is a spot in Oakland Ca that I used to go to and I constantly miss those chicken and waffles.

To me it’s all about the combination of spices for both the chicken and the waffles. They mix em so well that it blends really nicely together.

Couldn’t agree more. I’m officially onboard with this platform. Still trying to figure out how it all works. But it’s great

Funny enough. I just joined like 10 minutes ago. As someone whose been on reddit since 2008! I’ve finally had enough when my 15 year old account started getting permabanned just for understanding why people like Luigi exist. And getting banned all over because of one comment. Then I saw another post this morning talking about alternatives to reddit and how someone else started getting banned for just about the same reasons. Then I and came across this platform. And it seems very promising at first glance. I’m m very hopeful it can make its way. Reminds me of the older days of early Internet.
