I made some adjustments to collisions without noticeably impacting performance on mobile. If you're open to give it another try I would appreciate your feedback.

I appreciate you taking the time to both play it and come back to me with critiques. I had some ideas for alternate modes like a timed one with a greater starting speed and one with "power ups" (one that increases the size of your swipe, one that freezes the screen, maybe some fruit like a pomegranate where you slice it open then have to slice 3-5 seed parts). I will play around more with the collisions and inspect more. May I ask which OS/architecture you were using?

This plus phones that ship with Linux out of the box are a little under powered and are arm devices. So they may also have compatibility issues.

It actually runs on 64-bit Linux and Windows as well. I should probably advertise that part of it too. I just designed it targeting mobile Linux.

In hopes of helping out mobile linux, I decided to bolster its supply of mobile games. I don't know if mobile Linux needs mobile games, but I make games as a hobby and want to try to help out however I can. The code is open source and the game has been tested on my Librem 5. Code can be found on GitLab.

edit: The game also has a build that runs on 64-bit systems. In all it runs on 64-bit Linux/Windows and arm Linux/Windows.

Thank you, I've started a lot of games and moved on without finishing them. This is the first one I actually pushed through and finished. I also kept the scale of it pretty low and set a deadline. I bought asset so I could focus solely on the code portion, but in future games I either want to utilize art from friends of learn pixelart.

Haha yeah, I wasn't super creative with the name. Just wanted to finish it.

The game itself is free as in free beer and the code is open source. The game has been tested on my Librem 5. If you like what I do, consider donating.
