I made a small carve-out for the 2010s in my post and also any nostalgia movements that do resurface are going to be heavily revisionist to the point that they deny any connections to prior nostalgia cycles, such as pretending synth-pop was invented in the 2010s or something.

It will end in 2079.

We're not going to get cycles of nostalgia anymore, they're all going to overlap until people literally die out of them. Simultaneously, we're going to have '80s, '90s' 2000s resurgences into the future. Maybe a 2010s one. But there will be nothing after that because everything after that is just a blend of the previous eras in some form.

There's a Sopranos episode where Chris off-handedly mentions wanting to steal trucks filled Pokemon cards or something. I think they end up getting a truck filled with Centrum Multivitamins.

Yeah, Cardfight Vanguard cards.

I don't think it's a coincidence that all the things you listed happen in-person to some extent and aren't words on a screen though.

They need the media to justify it to the masses. And they feed Reuters info they want published anyway.

Remember to pay it forward.
