Oof, if you think the gouging is bad on consoles, wait till you look at GPU prices. I haven't owned a console in almost a decade, but the price advantage is still on the console side.

It's an interesting concept, but the pvp was a huge turnoff. Maybe it'd be different if there was an option to form an alliance or truce while above ground, but then it's just PvE with one massive team.

Commercial displays aren't great for gaming due to latency and refresh rate. Commercial signage displays don't care about either, so you're not going to get a good result.

I'm on team "get a smart tv and don't give it Internet access". Only complaint I have about my LG C5 ID that switching HDMI inputs is ever so slightly more cumbersome than on my old Samsung.

iirc there's a common mod with aluminum foil tape which makes them work great with capacitive touch buttons. For some reason I remember it having to touch the negative terminal for the battery too.

So if 1080 is fine for 27 inch monitor, 4k is fine for the 55 inch tv I have on my desk for a computer monitor.
